Movement Champions 2016: ABB Form - The Key to a Better Body

ABB (Alignment, Bracing and Breathing) is fundamental to training better movement. The goal of this training is to increase awareness of how each region of the spine / trunk is controlled. With this awareness you will be able to transfer these skills into all of the exercises used in the Movement Champions Program.
Key cues involved in this exercise are:
Alignment = Neutral low back, Rib tuck, Shoulder blades back, Nod. Low back and rib tuck takes precedence over shoulder blade and nod, so don’t over-do the upper body parts.
360 Degree Bracing = get tight in the front, sides and back of the core; tap and hold with fist from front and from side
Breathing with 10s Exhale = the inhale adds stiffness to the core, and the full 10-second exhale drives all the last remaining air out.
