@joshgulisano18635 жыл бұрын
That was intentional I’m pretty sure, because Charlie looks uncomfortable after that line. That could have foreshadowed something.
@implicitnoir5 жыл бұрын
Nicole M wait, aunt Helen abused Charlie?
@andthebasecapsaid83694 жыл бұрын
@@implicitnoir yeah in the movie you can see how his aunt molested him, but it is some how obviously that she did more than that in one scene when Charlie kisses sam, sam rubbs his leg and his aunt did this too, it's a thing someone do that so the guy wants to have s**. In the same moment Charlie remembers that his aunt did this too. So to read between the lines while watching the scenes you'll understand what his aunt actually did. Watch the movie again and look for the little things everybody does and say,maybe you will see it too :)

I love the little wink to the book when Charlie said "how you can't have three on a match because then they'd find us." You only get that reference if you read the book, where Bob goes more into detail about this theory from world war I when you couldn't light 3 cigarettes with one match because then the light would be there long enough for the enemy to notice.

Not because of spite or some bad humor but because being socially awkward is "having no feeling for situation and value of what people actually want from you in your friendship with them" is included. fck me, honestly, when I watched it for the first time I said that exact line in my head and I was not even on drugs....
