it's god damn robocop of course by the 3rd film some criminals would have some abilty to figure out you don't get in his way. Dagget is likely noit paying for his room any way so let Robo put the fear of god in him.

It always bugged me that Robert Burke's Robocop had one of his hand sticking out to the side while his other hand was holding a weapon! Peter Weller never did that!

Can shoot a gun and make it dance in the air. Can't shoot an oversized Brit clumsily trying to escape. The entire tone of Robocop 3

@@amitypredator9385 original is not a master piece of art either. Is just nostalgic. You are just being way too demanding on details that don't really matter. If Murphy shots the guy here, the movie ends.

1:39 So a lot of comments are pointing at how this makes no sense , how can Robocop make a gun dance in the air and not shoot the villain? Here is my theory, Murphy is still bound by the law as per his cyborg programming, so regardless of how much he wants to avenge Lewis, he would be committing murder unless he is defending himself (i.e., the villain shoots at him), thus his programming actually prevents him from turning the villain into a beehive, which is what happens at the beginning of the clip with the 2 henchmen. To get around this, Murphy would have to goad the villain into making a threatening move, like point a gun at him, thus the cyborg programming would allow him to shoot the villain, because he isn’t committing murder, he is defending himself. Once you consider this, it makes sense why Murphy doesn’t actually shoot the villain at the first shot, he is actually trying to get him to make a threatening move so that his programming will allow him to shoot him. This isn’t an actual oversight or weak attempt to get the plot to move forward, but really follows the limitations of Murphy being Robocop.

1:22 what is that Moving for the gun? Since after Murphy has shot the gun and didn’t move It seems like it’s floating and gone crazy or it’s been moved by the people who wear the green screen suit or that movie is made by CGI
