That leaves him only $ 430,000 out of $ 1 million. Whereas if he did get his lawyer involved from the very beginning, I am sure the lawyer would have negotiating something like $ 2 million, PLUS whatever federal, state, local taxes, fees, duties and commissions on top of that. I don't think David gave him the 5% because in the end, David gave away the full million for the stupid hippo. Jeremy and David were college buddies so I'm assuming Jeremy didn't charge him for his legal services, which is kind of him. Also, Jeremy was an amazing lawyer too. He impressed the Billionaire and got hired by these 2 script writers in under 3 minutes.
