@@natsmith303 Nah it's one of the Elf languages, and I believe it translates to "Middle Land"="Middle Earth"

@@garthst.claire3459 It's more than likely the writers just plugging witch-y references in to make her feel connected to some sort of legacy.

I'm not trying to 'um akctually', because Kryptonian weaknesses/attributes change all the time, but the thing with magic isn't that they're especially weak to it, their invulnerability just doesn't do anything to stop it. It won't hurt them more than it would a human, it just doesn't hurt them any less. Kryptonite is specifically radioactive in such a way that (in more modern comics) disrupts their ability to use the yellow sun radiation that fuels their powers.

Why do all Kryptonian men wear Cosby sweaters?

The fatal flaw which eventually crippled her Army of the Night was that they were all usually in bed by 6 PM. An “Army of the Early Bird Special” might’ve seen more success in the field, playing to their inherent strengths.

They are in Inner Space, so the entire Supergirl movie is set within Martin Short.

Peter O'Toole, Faye Dunaway, Simon Ward, Hart Bochner, Peter Cook, and Mia Farrow (with cameos by Matt Frewer and Stacy Keach) in a movie together... I DON'T CARE IF THE MOVIE IS HILARIOUSLY BAD, I'VE SEEN "SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND", THERE'S NO WAY I'M TURNING DOWN A MOVIE FEATURING AN ALL-STAR CAST LIKE THAT! Unless it's "Movie 43".

"Can Kryptonians do that?" Little known "fact", Kryptonians actually only have one power: the power to resolve whatever the narrative problem is by use of a Kryptonian power. Since most things can be solved with a good punch, that pretty much covers it most of the time.

Oh boy me and my mom went to go see this at the movie theaters when it first came out. Well at least they had a poster of Superman in the movie.

"Batman: We've tried human ingenuity, we called on the lanterns but there is one option we haven't tried yet. Constantine: Magic. Batman: *Sigh* Magic, and there is a good reason we haven't gone down that road yet. Aside from it generally being unreliable and unpredictable there is someone, or something on the board that's definitely in Superman's camp. Now Detective Chimp believes.... Bullock: Fuck it! I'm out, I didn't sign up for talking monkeys" Injustice Year 3 On Kryptonians and magic.

I watched this movie when I was a child. I was not a hug comic nerd at the time so when I was talking to my friends that are comic nerds about it they said I had a lot of info wrong about super girl. Like I actually thought she came from inside the water, like there was a part of krypton inside a lake on earth. I mean that is what it looks like in the movie and that is where the goes back to at the end.
