Just finished the entire second part and all I can say is how well Omar Sy acted in the series and just how brilliant the writing was and the overall plot was just amazing. I’m intrigued to see what will happen to Assane in Part 3

Great review. I luved it too. Like you, I missed assanne's mischievous in part 2. His quick changes reflecting his quick-minded resolutions in escaping. There is a theatricality, energy, whimsical nature and suspense-fulness about it that added to his character. I think the writing and theme of race was cleaner and more focused on instead, which made me feel more for him. And maybe, understand him and his choices- especially in getting back his son & keeping him safe & clearing his father's name more. It gave me social justice fight - and fighting the system..... Thanks for noticing that character hugely present then random afterwards----me too. I really liked the character & the actor playing him. At first, I thought why would assanne let him in the car? Why would he let him stay? (If it was a plot point- to see what was happening and then have him save his son--- that feels like a missed opportunity for story and actor) His acting assanne was stellar. I believed his pain and his joy..... The bad guy---- I forgot actor. Sorry. He framed his dad. He was unapologetically racist and corrupt. I genuinely didn't like him, which means he did his job as an actor well. I also believed him. Really good cast.... Overall, I like French tv--- it is crisp, filled with interesting landscapes, characters, dialog and relationships-- I will say that women always seem strong in my viewing, but in this show they seemed backburner-- not as important as men.... Well done mate.

I wanted SO BAD to like this series but they need to focus more on the "Cleverness" of the Crimes and Cons and MUCH LESS on the "emotional" BS. In these days of Money Heist, De Dag, and Friheden Tv Series...you gotta come with some good clever heists and storylines to keep the viewers interest

Just watched first one and I enjoyed it a lot, after the first minute I got up and made hot dogs. Then rolled a fat one. 💚 Am watching next though virtuoso on prime. It is.... Well different,. With out spoiling it's like I've got audio descriptions on 😂 😂 😂 what is this film doing. If you are going let us know
