Ok i get it but Art you can not procrastinate the renovation of ur home!! You need help! I pray you get help it will hold you accountable!! Work the house 8 hr days like a job 5 days a week! You will get it done a lot sooner!! You might not be able to farm and renovate the way u want to in the future ! Get the home for ur family and farm later! Bri and kids can do animals while u work ur home!! This is because I’ve lived this and home and family came first! Then u can garden and farm🤗

Bri & Art, You are my favorite people on KZbin. I meant to convey this to you a couple of days ago, but instead communicated with Art's dad about my admiration of you two and your children. I have told this to you many times in the last 3 years, but I understand Bri was particularly impacted by some of the critical comments being made. So, Bri, I just want to express my deep regard for you & your family. I wish the judgy commentors would better choose their words, with understanding how hurtful they are being. Art's dad explained that even quiet critiquing can cut to the quick sometimes. So, sweet girl, don't read all of the comments. You and Art are doing everything right, and your kids are the most well rounded children I have ever seen. You are doing a wonderful job raising loving, capable adults who will remain friends with you, because you are so genuine! Thanks for sharing your lives with us. Best of life in your rental. I’m so happy you found a rental that’s not only close to home but also is welcoming your family so enthusiastically! It’s hard to believe you started this channel 4 years ago! I’ve been with you from the start and I’ve enjoyed getting to know your family.i appreciate that my children can watch your channel with me - and they do! They love seeing your kids and the animals. Your videography skills have grown as your homestead and family have - the shots of Art sitting in the barn talking - just lighting perfection. Having a YT channel is hard work. I appreciate you both sharing your life on your homestead with all of us and I’m glad it’s allowing you to be home full-time. When you shared the plan to rent a home for winter and talked about the struggles you (Art) have had in managing the work on the house I thought the plan to partner with the contractor/life coach to assist you was an excellent solution. Sharing joys and successes is the easy bit. But how many of us would be willing to share the challenges? It’s hard for most of us to be vulnerable with our closest friends and family. Your channel is available for the world to view and enjoy and learn. That video elicited so many comments I found myself reading through them all. I was astounded by the lack of compassion shown. Admonishing you for every decision you’ve made since the mold was discovered was common. Giving unsolicited advice on how to proceed going forward another - as if your plan of having guidance from a local man who is a contractor and life coach paled in comparison to the sage advice of strangers. But what I found most offensive were the comments of those that said they donated to the GoFundMe set up by Simeon & Alex. In donating money to anyone, it’s assumed you, the donor, believe your money will be put to good use because you trust that Art & Bri will use the funds wisely. Art & Bri have openly shared their challenges when it comes to this project. From the discovery of the mold to present they’ve had not only internal struggles within themselves, but kids have broken bones, Bri almost lost sight in one eye and we have the COVID pandemic. That the progress has been slower than anticipated does not equate mismanagement of funds. We are not Art & Bri. Only they get to decide what is best for their family at this time. All I saw was unsolicited advice telling them what they should and should not do. It was obnoxious and uncalled for - donating money doesn’t mean you bought the right to condemn them because you believe you would do things differently. This is the downside of accepting donations. It’s the downside of having a YT channel. Long comment, I know. But I appreciate you both and have grown fond of your family.
@jemmiestone57314 жыл бұрын
Well said. I agree 100%. Some people just need to shut up and let Art and Bri raise their family and do things the way that they see fit. Some people should be ashamed of themselves for judging Art and Bri.
@roseeckstein65344 жыл бұрын
Jemmie Stone I agree, but they are on KZbin so they have to be able to accept criticism also. I am sure they can handle it. So people are just going to hate.

People that gave money have every right in the world to make honest thoughtful comments!!! This GoFundMe gimmick has been abused by many, the homeless guy back East that gimmick supposedly gave $20 to a women that with her husband raised a few hundred thousand dollars - it was all’s scam. These people are well within their right to demand an accounting!!
@lmd24544 жыл бұрын
@@edcurwick8383 no...they have no "rights" concerning how Art and Bri go about using those funds! First of all, they didn't ask for donations, they didn't set up the GoFundMe! Secondly, when we give to someone for any reason, once that $ is out of our bank account, it's out of our control. If you can't give with no strings attached, then don't give. Third...you don't follow the homeless guy that you gave $5 to, to see if he buys food or booze, do you? How and when they use the funds is between them and God. Just because it isn't happening on someone else's timeline, doesn't mean they are misusing the funds or defrauding the givers.
@edcurwick83834 жыл бұрын
@@lmd2454 Sorry, it's called morality, character, Honor -- it is what the Bible they say they live by calls for! Read PROVERBS! It's all about living a life dedicated to Honor along with wisdom!!! I realize today's society even wants to change God’s Word - this don't judge me!!! This crap is hogwash! Every one of Christ’s Parables is about discerning the behavior of those mentioned in the narrative. Amish and Mennonites do not work alone, it is the most ineffective method of accomplishing a task. He does not ever spend a complete dad working on that home. I have done construction work throughout my lifetime, especially while a FireFighter, we ALWAYS worked as a team and always produced more on a project. There are plenty of verses in Proverbs speaking of the same. I'm sorry your pride prevents you from listening to others much like other HomeSteaders that think they have some new-fangled way of raising livestock or crops... Ecclesiastes 1:9 New International Version 9 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Sure there are advances in science, but those are also typically made as a team!!! Art is a Nurse, as I have been. Even nurses rarely work a shift without working with or for a team member. People on Social Media draw out projects to get more views/Viewers/subscribers... NOT TO get projects done effectively or efficiently. The most effective use of ppl’s hard-earned money is to start the project, work whole hearty at it with as many hands required to accomplish the tasks at hand to make progress in an organized manner. But Social Media has few people that work that way. Wild Wonderful Off-grid even has two people working together, just like Life Uncontained, and there are new channels daily. The slower least effective are Red Poppy Ranch, the guy just has no clue but how to work Harder, NOT SMARTER... Just like this guy! And they all are using other people’s money, some contribute by spending time watching the videos... One day I will buy me land in Idaho and I'll hire a Helper or sub-contract out parts of a job because it is just the most effective manner to do it. A prime example of this is Gilabrook Farms -- they have paid several subcontractors to do the best job possible!

Love the alphabet and homeschooling! Brings back memories :-). A says aa, B says buh, C says kuh, T says tuh. Everything repeated out loud three times, and tracing the letter with a finger on a textured surface while saying A says aaa, then writing with a pencil while saying it out loud three times. Kuh, aa, tuh , spells cat. Two of us were dyslexic/add, so putting the info into the brain through speaking and hearing and feeling and writing and three times. Put the information as many times as necessary till it stayed and was accessible and repeatable. Every lesson day started with a review from A says aa up to the current point. That way nothing dropped out, if it did , just lay it in again, and keep building.

Would it be cheaper to hire someone to help with the work and get in sooner instead of renting, I don’t know the rental prices but I’m really frugal and I would hate that extra expense. God bless and God speed on your home

I’m glad you’ve decided to move for the winter... that will work better all the way around... I’m also glad that Ferdinand has chilled back to his normally docile self... He is a good bull and I would hate to see him leave.. I am one of those who, for some reason, takes comfort from your videos; watching you live your lives and raising your children the way that I wish I had. Congrats to all of the winners!

I'm so happy for you! We have 4 kids, dairy goats and poultry too and are also dealing with lots of health issues because of mold in our old house. It is so hard dealing with it all and I am super glad that you can be in a house for the winter.
