Good video. Liked the no nonsense approach. I’ve switched to iPhone 13 pro and this is my first iPhone after lot of Nokia (Windows) & Samsung flagships. So far, i love the transition and I’m here to stay for long time. My only major gripe(s) are having no finger print scanner. And of-course way more premium price esp here in India.

Nice one! Yes, price is a big issue. Feel like if you can afford it, go for an iPhone 13 pro- it's a solid all rounder phone. Otherwise, if you want to save a bit of cash, android is easily a viable alternative for a lot less.

Ah, that's very interesting. Your review is excellent especially because you explain all the little problems you went into and you clearly expressed your small disappointments.

I bought and am using a Pixel 6 Pro after having a Pixel 5, Pixel 4,and Pixel 2 before that (and Samsung Notes before those). I have found the Pixel 6 Pro very inconsistent and buggy and frustrating. The camera also seems very inconsistent and the optical fingerprint sensor is so/so. I don't hate it like other reviewers do, but it is a poor implementation. Google's support both hardware and software is absolutely embarrassing too. I ordered an iPhone 13 Pro and I'm going to see if I can stomach iOS. That's my only variable as I love the hardware, but I've always struggled with the clunkiness of iOS. part of me wishes the 13 Pro hardware would run on Android - would be a good mix I think

Now that I’m fully submerged in Apple’s eco-system, I see switching as inconceivable. My use-cases and personal preferences involve regularly switching between iPhone, iPad, and Mac. I adore Handoff, AirDrop, iMessage across all devices, and Apple’s Note and Reminders apps for organizing my life. Android has a poor cross-device, and tablets in general, experience. I do miss how Android handles notifications. The way iOS hides “old” notifications is irritating. I’ve gotten a habit of dragging up on the lock screen to check for them. Badges and stacking notifications help to make up for it, however, iOS’ notification system still needs a lot of work. EDIT: just found out that you can long hold a notification on the lock screen to access its quick actions.

I agree that the ecosystem brings a lot of convenience - the new notes and reminders as you mentioned is pure gold! I love it as much as airdrop. If you can afford it, definitely decent but for those that can't afford or prefer to save money, there are workarounds to the above at significant less cost I think

Wait! So if I backup chats on WhatsApp on my OnePlus phone and verify my number on the iPhone, I can't restore those chats?!
@smariko32 жыл бұрын
Yeh bc the backup from your OneDrive gets stored on Google drive and iOS WhatsApp only restores from iCloud :(

@@smariko3 Thank you for the reply! That is so basic and annoying! I, like you am using a OnePlus 7T Pro and am considering an upgrade to and iPhone because I have a MacBook air. Another thing... Is there any way to download my entire Google photos library onto my SSD? I do not want to rely on Google photos on iOS or iCloud in future. Great videos! Keep up the good work.
