as someone who moved apartments in March - the part about thinking of your old apartment a lot resonated with me! I still think about it a lot and remember little things - like how the sun shone into the kitchen or the way the curtains moved in the wind, the time we brought our cats home, our christmases - everything, but I’m no longer sad or missing it, rather just bathing in that feeling of home Sometimes I struggle because I feel like I should feel more at home in my new apartment after six months but truthfully it takes some time and most importantly for me - making memories! And that’s gonna happen before you know it and I’m so excited to watch it unfold 💖

Just a tip for you if your mom didn’t already tell you, get you a can of Scotch Guard and spray your bar stools and your couch. It will save you time, frustration and money in preventing stains on them! So excited for you!
