hmm 2.4 vs 4.2 -- It's fine to want to learn unreal, but maybe you should have checked into what state the 3d engine is in for godot before jumping ship. Plus, you can extend your knowledge about 2d godot into 3d godot as they both use the same node system, and there are a lot of 3d equivalents for the 2d nodes.

I moved my project from 2d to 3d in godot and it looks amazing. Actually I think it is a big misunderstanding that godot is only usable for 2d games. Actually game engine is only a tool and you can use it in many different ways

get the swf flash file for motherlode, then run it with ruffle flash emulator, I started playing swords and sandals and sinjid shadow of the warrior again using it

I HATE scenes and instancing scenes.... it was so hard to not get a null instance it gave me such a headache, Especially passing data between notes and creating levels.. i just went on to Unity

we all know you can't say it but godot is not usable for anything bigger than a small pixel art plataformer.

not really. it does have it's fair share of problems, but it's capable. obviously not on the scale of AAA games. and with each update it keeps improving. i hope to see it become more better throughout the years

Godot can make big indie games like Stardew but obviously he and we know it can't make a tripple AAA game like Skyrim
