My wife and I plan to move to Charleston when we're ready to retire early (she's first). We are looking to take a vacation there early next year and are probably starting to look into investing in a property (in 2023). We like quiet, newer homes but not too far from the city life. Something with 3 beds, +2.5 baths, 2 bay garage, public utilities.

Hey Nat, We are seriously considering moving to Summerville or Goose Creek within the next 6 months from Florida. We have been looking at the housing market and noticed a lot of the communities have a pool, walking paths and community centers. Would that be an HOA, an extra year fee or is it part of your property taxes? Thank you for your time and we love your KZbin channel

Hey Tara! Yes, typically homeowners associations with pools have separate fees called homeowners association dues. You can expect them to be anywhere between 800 and $1000 per year for most of the Somerville communities.
