It’s impossible if you’re limited to $250k or less. There’s virtually no agent interested. I get it, it’s the million dollar homes that keep the bread on the table.

Yes that is true they don’t want to deal with you. Did you know it’s actually illegal for them to deny putting in an offer for you. I’ve dealt with the same issue, the agents were horrible. Not to mention everything is so overpriced now too. Push back on them and let them know they have a fiduciary duty to their client and you too if you sign anything with them.

Oh, it’s not that- it just there are no homes in the price range in this area. Or if they are they need to be completely gutted or they may be unsafe and not able to be financed. But they can be found if you look in Marion, maybe Old Fort, Perhaps Canton or way up north.

Asheville needs positive reflection for moving forward, don't forget the old and historic lifestyle that began all this

Just don't live anywhere near a river. Or even a tiny creek. Or on a mountain/hillside. And be prepared to not have drinkable water at times. And carry pepper spray if you go downtown.

Ah ~ awareness is useful.

I understand they installed a 400,000 dollar 24-hour public restroom for downtown Asheville homeless people.😮.
@livinginashevilleАй бұрын
Not sure if that actually happened though.

Hey there! It’s a prefabricated restroom paid for with American Rescue Plan Act dollars, federal grant funding for COVID-19 response, and included utility hookups, a new irrigation system, landscaping for the small downtown parklet, lighting and installation of security cameras. It’s all set up and ready to go!
