We have to pay to park in Hendersonville. Makes it hard for low income seniors and others! It's expensive for most of us. Traffic is heavy. Used to be a small town but now a city 2nd to Asheville. Some restaurants and stores have closed .

Mu guess (1974) for the first house was right! Lake Junaluska is a Methodist retreat center, that would explain the "camplike" quality. The trail around the lake is awesome - it's 4 miles in total.

Dont move here period. We locals are kindly and have manners. That doesn't mean we want you here. Youns are ruining my families home town. We were here first and have been 200 years. Come visit but dont stay. And whatever you do dont build a house on your acre of land on the side of the mountain and then act like you own the whole thing.

This is where we want to move to soon. We had our house in Florida flooded by hurricane Helene. We were gonna move here in 2026 but after the storm we decided to move up to now. We cannot go through another hurricane season. I was born and raised, and I am several generations Floridian and this girl is just done. I love the people up there and it just feels like home. For some reason, I’ve always known I would live up in this Asheville area. My folks have a place in wolf laurel and we love it up there too, but we don’t want to live the mountain life.

Here is an update for you - my beach house destroyed. I come up to NC - maybe I buy a nice house up here? But NO - all the folks up here HATE anyone from Florida, very rude people up here. You all dont have a clue on tourism - or dont want it - so I will take my 1/2 a million and buy in Florida - just not on the island... kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3i0f39_d76Ha8k

Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family...

I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second daughter. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks...

IMO, Waynesville is the best place to live in the Asheville area. I grew up in Asheville and moved away for college to the Charlotte area back in 2005, and my wife and I just moved back to the area and chose Weaverville. While Weaverville is a nice, (relatively) quiet town, it's much too small for us. When we started branching out and visiting other towns around us, we immediately knew that Waynesville was the place to be, so much so that we'll be relocating there to either a rental or purchasing a home next fall. So freaking glad you did a video on Waynesville, and yes, it's amazing.
@livinginasheville

Hello Mr. Bean, thank you so much for your comment. I love your username. Yes Waynesville is definitely a different vibe than Weaverville and bigger. I can see why that would be the case. I hope you all get in touch with us in the fall when you’re thinking about relocating. We would be glad to help you.

Okay, where’s my girl Evelyn? And why is it that Beth always interviews the pups but never gives them any dog treats? Every time she says hello to them, they think she’s being nice cause she’s going to give them a treat….then she doesn’t!!!! She breaks every puppy’s heart that she talks to. Poor, poor puppies. Teased to death!!!
