If your building doesn't have a ton of laundry machines, DONT take up as many machines as available, especially if you're not planning on switching them right away. People will likely move your stuff, and it's not considerate to take up more than you truly need. (Coming from someone who lived in an 85+ person building with only 3 pairs of machines)
@CairaButton3 жыл бұрын
Oh my gosh that is not enough machines for that many people!!

@@CairaButton totally! Left after one year, for where I am now, with laundry in unit and another bedroom for just $100 more/month!

I’ve always lived in the suburbs and visit Chicago (which is an hour or so away from me) 2-3 times a year. Your videos are so helpful! I used to want to live in the city so bad but hearing about all these extra expenses like parking, is something I always forget about. It’s crazy how expensive it is but makes sense. I love your videos by the way! I started watching your channel when you only had 4 videos posted. Love your content! ❤️❤️

I’m from the UK, so I don’t really know what the ‘average’ type person would earn as wages each month after taxes. Would you be able to make a little video about this pls? It would just really help understand the coatings of everything and put it all into perspective 😊😉👍👍 Also, how much do ppl generally spend on groceries and then eating out? The cost of living in each different city is so interesting. I’m so jealous of your public transport system!!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Generally, how much is the electric bill during the winter for heating if you have large windows such as yourself? Do the apartments hold heat well?
@annakatherine44103 жыл бұрын
personally, too expensive. my roommate and i live downtown in floor-to-ceiling windows on every wall of our corner unit, and our electric went up over a hundred dollars this winter from what it was every month in the summer. and standing near the windows feels like you’re basically outside. we live in a nice high rise building as well! maybe not this way in other places, but i hope that’s kinda helpful!

How come you never talk about the south side? Or even show buildings in the south side?
@CairaButton3 жыл бұрын
Honestly I just don’t know that area as well! I don’t get many requests except like Hyde park or south loop. If people requested it from me I would! But my niche is more downtown and north side.

I am wondering what is the process of someone who is self employed and doesn’t have paystubs or a co-signer. How do they want proof of income. Ex. Bank statements or a certain amount of savings?
@CairaButton3 жыл бұрын
It totally depends on the apartment. Some require active income. Others might be ok with a certain amount of savings, but there is not clear cut answer.
