I moved to Jax last year from Tampa. I grew up in LA. Have lived in Atl, Orlando, Houston. I live on the Northside, work on the southside. Traffic here is nothing. It gets congested downtown, and like Blanding blvd. But I dont find it stressful to drive here in Jax. Great highway system, wide streets. Crime is not a issue here for me, I am not in the streets. I work, hang with close friends and more of a homebody. Never felt unsafe here. Crime is everywhere. Weather is awesome, always sunny and hot. But thats what AC is for. Few days in the winter we may have a cold spell. But it's refreshing for me, a break from the heat. Nice beaches. Jax has so much potential, especially if they can get downtown developed. I love the Riverside trendy area. People are very friendly here. I love Jax.

It can get cold in Jax but it does warm up by noon. You won't need heavy layering of clothing but a nice jacket does help. I remember having to walk to the bus stop in the middle of winter and It was not fun. Jacksonville is in Florida but in North Florida so you still get somewhat of a seasonal change just not like you would in other states.

Driving in Ny is worse, Lived there for over 2 decades I can testify.🤣Plan on moving to Jacksonville and this video is truly helpful.

I finally am moving to Jacksonville in 3 months and all I hear is they need to step up the downtown area nothing else negative glad it’s not traffic like NY and Texas thanks for the video much needed
