Great interview!! Super informative. Interesting fact that Tracie mentioned gaining more black women friends in Mexico (the unexpected benefit💛) Good to know San Miguel has a welcoming large expat community. San Miguel is now on our scouting list. Thank you Tracie & Roshida

Roshida, watching from future. I enjoyed today's conversation. Good to know that all black women can find a welcoming community. Sounds like Tracie and Honey have found that in SMA.

Thank you for this conversation. A human’s right to love who they love has been a separation point for black women. I believe a step forward is acknowledging the rift, the judgement, the wound for genuine sisterhood not just looks good on the surface sisterhood.

This was great. Happy Pride. Never thoughtbof going to this part of Mexico til now.🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️😊 Forgot to say I'm a trucker. At a restaurant at a truck stop the day after seeing this a friendly huite gay trucker just happened to sit next to me. Wouldn't ya know a. He mentioned Puerto Vallarta AND b. his boyfriend was black lol...

I'm not LGBT but my experience with Puerto Vallarta in 2007, I was asked if I do drugs and when I told them I was a student at the time the guy asked me to name 5 Nobel Laureates in Literature who were Latino, I was able to name two, before he believed me. Also the timeshare harassment was heavily overbearing and scary had a really scary experience when I didn't choose their timeshare, they were going to leave me stranded when they initially told me my ride roundtrip was free. I enjoyed the resort and spa I stayed at but the constant asking me to buy stuff was annoying, I was turned off to Mexico after that, never went back.

I'm truly interested in this conversation BUT I CAN'T Deal with Roshida bad connection and feeling like she's all over the place. It’s really triggering my ADD and anxiety. But i will hang in there because i want to move to Mexico with my Cuban hunny within the next 5 to 10 years.

10k in 2 months! Hotel stays would have been cheaper. Sorry this happened ❤ the stereotypes about black people run very deep, and its not like any one person csn combat that overnight. As far as people not wanting to rent to foreigners, i think bloggers promoting this exodus should stress the fact that its best to spread out and integrate. All foreigners going to mexico city, they will start self protecting, us vs them. They will always choose us. I feel her on the food, im headed towards more farmers market now. Even organic is suspect now. But if everyone is spreading out a bit, this reaction wont be as fierce. Americans need to move cautiously.

Romans 1:25-27 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Loved this! That’s how I felt @tracie_collins. Wait, all you want is a copy of my passport and some money…What’s the catch?!? 😂
