It's so funny to think that if I drove across from the south-east, where I live, to the north-west, that being a remote point in Scotland, would "only" take me under 12 hours 😅! This was the most enjoyable geography lesson I've ever had (I looked at the map every time you named a place 😳)...thanks guys! Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧 😀

I love the moving vlogs! My husband is in the military so we move every few years and road tripping to our new place is always so exciting! We have two big dogs so we stop A LOT on the drives so they can walk around and be comfortable. It makes the trips a lot longer but it’s worth it to keep them happy 😂 hope you and the kitties settle in nicely!

I usually don’t really like watching vlogs, but you two have something so lovely about you, I really enjoyed watching this. Also, I was super shocked when you first said you would be driving 3 full days to get to your new home. As someone living in Switzerland, where you can basically cross the country in a couple of hours, that‘s quite mindblowing.😄

America is really on another scale. So huge and spread out. Can't imagine driving for over 6 hours. Amazing seeing the wind turbines...really hit me that there weren't that many big power lines next to the roads, which is interesting. Would have been cool to see what the services are like in America. It's incredible that after all that you flew right back. Must have been exhausting.

Wait, this might sound really dumb but what time does the sun set in the summer in Georgia? In PA it does around 9:30ish. Like that's when it's actually getting dark out. So I am just wondering haha. Also Nebraska is horrible to drive through. We have driven through to Colorado from PA and that is so long and boring through there. Sorry people from Nebraska, I'm used to mountains 😂
@SarahRoseBeauty2 жыл бұрын
It sets around 8:45ish at the latest in the south! It just sets later the further north you go. And omg I was so glad we didn’t have to drive through Nebraska this trip. Sooo boring 😂

As a native Midwesterner your reaction to the windmills was cracking me up! Also, when you guys were talking about seeing a lot of road construction on your drive I kind of forgot that it might not be the case to have a ton of summer construction in Georgia. We’re so used to summer being construction season since there’s a lot of construction activities we can’t do in the cold winter months (without special materials and/or considerations at least). Happy you guys made it safely! Your footage is making me want to take a trip out west. It’s been too long since I’ve been out that way!
