Yup, until that moment Logitech will remain at top of, or near, the top of the heap for entry level wheels. It may be inferior in many ways, but its console compatibility is important. @ Mainly assetto corsa (highway racing and drifting). I don't think I'll get into competitive sim racing. I saw that it's better to have more torque for drifting. Also, more headroom in terms of torque to feel more detail since you get less detail if the motor is running at full power. The question is, is the extra price worth it??

@gabrielmaria27623 ай бұрын
G923 here. Started sim racing just a few months ago, didn't even know if I'm gonna like it or not. So for people who are new to sim racing it's a great value proposition. Spend 300€, see if you like driving sims and if not, sell the thing, not loosing more than 100€ in the process. You will eventually want to upgrade to something better, if not for torque, at least to eliminate noise and get a smoother feel. Still, during this time you learn a lot of techniques that will apply with any wheel you end up putting on your sim. So if it's your first wheel, go with the Logitech and have fun. There is a lot of driving to be done before you are above what that wheel has to offer.
@digitalsublimeАй бұрын
Good to know, where I live you can buy 923 with shifter for 200dls used, vs the 650dls for same setup on Moza. It's tough to justify 3x if you don't know if you are going to really get into it.
@ajrichar04 ай бұрын
G29 for me because I need PlayStation comparability, and because im a casual gamer so price is also a factor. I'm not going to start spending larger amounts when I don't have a permanent set up and I'm not hunting tenths of a second. However, if PlayStation compatibility and price were no constraints, no question I'd go with Moza.
@digitalsublimeАй бұрын
Here in south America you can get a used Logitech 923 with shifter for around 200dls, and Moza r3 bundle with clutch from AliExpress is around 460dls and to add the shifter is 160dls more (the shifter is really expensive), and you can't find used. So, all in all L923 is a third of the price. 🤔 It becomes a more drastic difference...

@stevenlarson33164 ай бұрын
Logitech shouldn't be considered here. The G923 is too expensive to compete as a budget wheel and the construction is too cheap to considered mid range. It's a plastic toy for kids. There was a time when it was the only good option for a budget wheel, but that time has long since past. Spring for a slightly more expensive direct drive wheel if you plan to use it regularly. The competition is between Fanatec and Moza. If you're on PC the Fanatec CSL DD bundle is 400 dollars, gives you 5 nm torque, upgradable with a 50 dollar power supply off amazon to 8 nm. But if you're on a console it's less straight forward. I'd wait to see what Thrustmaster comes out with in a few weeks. They have announced a pedal set for under 100 dollars and are supposed to be announcing a budget direct drive wheel with console compatibility. I expect it to be the go to for console gamers.
@slaphead904 ай бұрын
Both Thrustmaster and Logitech failed to keep their eye on the ball with regards to sim racing peripherals. This is especially true of Thrustmaster as their core business is essentially gaming peripherals for sims. Logitech I can understand as they could drop their wheel range and it would amount to little more than a rounding error on their balance sheet. However on the other hand Thrustmaster really did drop the ball.
@collinclary57624 ай бұрын

This is a comparison where logitech G923 can win in some aspects. It's not a landslide choice like with the T300rs Gt. Moza takes this totally if we're talking about performance and since it's a direct drive its pretty much a no brainer. However one very big DEAL BREAKER for this R3 is the compatibility seriously? Xbox? I guess we all know how shitty forza motorsport became there's no competition with GT7 at this point so you need that playstation compatibility to play it which it doesn't a full pledged PC player is a whole different story but we're talking general audience and as it stands people just prefer playing GT7 all around then there's the reliablity the G920/29/923 were known to be very reliable due to being basic gear driven wheelbases. This is if we're talking about the general use and compatibility but for performance I'm taking the R3 no matter.
