I've been complaining that Mozart composed only 18 piano sonatas. These violin and piano sonatas are consolation!!
@jesusmanriquezsantana15903 жыл бұрын
He also composed 6 sonatas for piano for 4 hands and a sonata for two pianos
@aliarouet64253 жыл бұрын
So I’m currently reading the new Mozart biography by Jan Swafford. And apparently Mozart wrote this “between 11 and midnight the day before it premiered-he only had time to write down the violin part, and at the performance played the accompaniment out of his head”. Amazing

the piano intros really carry one away,violin obligato pretty much optional!

I heard about Mozart writing a piano and violin sonata in 1 hour but the story I heard is that he was tired from composing a symphony and took a break of 1 hour during which he randomly composed a sonata. Is this the same story?

How can we know what Mozart did at home?

The piano accompaniment sounds very improvised indeed. But wheren't there rehearsals before concerts?
@airpanache7 ай бұрын
@@Jabafish Mitsuko Uchida once told an anecdote about Mozart that he only gave the orchestra the sheet music of the piano concerto K503 in the morning and he just said he shall see them in the evening concert and that's it. the orchestra probably had some hours to rehearsal but without the soloist. ;D

The set of sonatas for violin and piano is poorly known by music lovers. Most of them know only the sonatas in Bb major ans e minor. There are still gems to discover in that set. This recording can be an opportunity to begin digging ..... Excellent and very transparent interpretation.

so are most of his chamber music like the piano trios and the two quartets. Good news is it seems the string quintets are getting more well known.

Excellent fragments from W. A. Mozart's correspondence. The partitura is merely amazing, the variations are, stylistically, at least 25years ahead of their time.

Отсюда взялись и Бетховен и Шуберт, чего тут не понятного? И это нормально, все отчего-то отталкивались. Бах, например, отталкивался от концертов Вивальди, сделал его кучу переложений, но нашел свой путь.
