The MP5K model used in the game actually IS a prototype. You can tell because it the finished version has a foregrip, while the one in game has an irregularly shaped hand guard.

I like the prototype more then the normal mp5k. Also is the hand guard and the caliber change the only difference between the prototype and the standard mp5k?

@@lilrobi45xxx42 yes, the prototype has the older trigger group seen in the G3 rifle family, Wooden handguard and waffle magazine. The more modern MP5K has the Navy trigger group, curved magazine and vertical foregrip.

I'm sure if they balanced the weapons and traded out the later cold war weapons for world war two weapons, the game would give call of duty a second chance.

For the love of god, remaster the golden era from cod4 to bo2. That whole 360 PS3 era was insane, even the bad games were fun. Just say "Wager tokens" instead of "COD points" to avoid confusion and there you go. And since it's Microsoft now, there is an expectation they do the smart thing and make the DLC included for free.

XboxAhoy is pretty tough on this gun in this guide and the one for MW2. the MP5K is probably my favorite SMG in both games due to the challenge factor. this gun is a pure powerhouse with rapid fire, and in general is a great deal more rewarding to succeed with over the AK47U, which I feel is a little bit too easy to do well with.

suppersor makes the mp5k an awesome room clearing or camping weapon. i usually don't camp. but the mp5k works amazingly well at close range with a silencer

I have been using the mp5 since cod 4. It is the best submachine gun out there imo. I use this gun with rapid fire. It is and excellent choice when in close quarter combat, but can be a pain at far ranges.
