Hey thanks for the video review I have noticed with MPC kits is if you get to of the same kit one out of one box is in poor shape and the other one will be quite a bit better

I've built this kit. As you I'm sure noticed but didn't mention in the video, where are the supercharger parts? The chassis has to be shortened up a bunch. When you do get it together the screw holes don't line up well. The rear bumper install takes a bunch of work to fit, so be sure and have that sorted before paint. The only issue that mine had extra was, where the 2 stems for the screws come down on the inside of the trunk lid it had a noticeable dimple for each one. This kit should be considered a level 3. It takes a bunch of work to get it close to correct. Nice review of a thrown together kit. Thanks for posting.

I have had many issues with MPC kits, part numbers dont match with instructions, enough flash to build another model, warped bodies and chassis. overall nice car ideas but i quit buying from this company.

I actually bought one yesterday, I had bought it to extract some of the parts for my Knight Rider K.I.T.T. as a big block but decided to just build a Judge AS a Judge. mine had no directions, that is going to be the fun of it!

Picked this kit up recently (on sale). Yeah, molds are a bit warn, but I think the body in mine looked a little better. What's interesting is that even though the box is the same as shown here and the same orange plastic, my kit only included the parts to build the stock version. Only one instruction sheet (two languages) modified from what was shown here. Chrome tree came in three parts ... probably because all the optional parts missing. I think those pins are for the rear of the chassis, not for the wheels ... my kit came with screws, even though the chassis holes are molded closed. I'll use plastic rod if I build it.

Good review Rick, you were more than fair with this kit, unfortunately, being a big Pontiac fan, I had to buy it and in the kit I bought there was even worse flash than yours. I had a hard time figuring out what was a part and what was flash. It is still not built as I am waiting to decide on the direction. Cheers

when did Pontiac stop using the big blocks and begin using the small blocks. I am looking for a 1/25 scale big block engine to use for my K.I.T.T. Knight rider car that I will fit with the twin turbo kit that comes with that kit. it has a small block I want it to be a big block as per sound dub in the show 2nd-+ seasons LOL.

Good review and I have to say MPC failed on this one. It's still sitting in the box. I am a beginning builder but I have to think out of the box on this one the chassis is way too long, no supercharger parts. So I am saving it until I get better at cutting and building before tackling this one.

Looks like a good one for me anyways I wouldn't build it as it is though I'm looking at it as a stock car version so the dash means nothing neither does the interior so it's perfect for a stock car!

If you don't even know what the parts of the kit are you shouldn't be judging a kit

Yeah its a crap kit... funny thing about that kit is that 75 percent of the parts are shared with mpc 67 gto. Thats the main reason that the chassis has that extra length. The engine looks undersized... i managed to build a decent one.... never again will i buy one...

I thought the same thing about the engine. It's supposed to be a 455 and looked more like a small block of some sort. Makes sense about the chassis. Does the 67 GTO have the supercharger parts in with it?
