Great tutorial as always. I feel like you have some of the best sample edit tutorials out there for the mpc. I also like that you show multiple ways to accomplish the same thing! The mpc live def accomplishes practically every way to edit music in a tactile way.

Thanks for watching bro! Yeah FL has a lot of great features. It may not be as easy to do certain things in the MPC, but I think there are ways to get most of them done that can be saved in a preset or pulled off with basic tools.

Dope tutorial bro, it’s funny how there usually is a work around right inside the box, any box, to get the effect of most Vst$. Like all the tape warble type vsts, just a slight bit of LFO on the pitch, a touch of sampled static, some filter and a pinch of bit reduction..still.., nice tutorial, you making people think outside the box bro👍🏽
@labandlegacy4 жыл бұрын
That's a fact bro. These machines and DAWs are so capable these days, most plugins are just combining effects that are already available. There's something to be said for convenience, but sometimes we can just make an FX chain one time and be done with it. 💯💯💯

Hey fellow MPC One users, in your honest and raw opinion, how would you say the effects are in the One overall? Are the reverbs, delays and chorus effects descent or anywhere near effects that you can get with a really great plug in? This is one thing I'm kind of worried about, because I'm a stand alone guy, and I do not want to have to use a DAW to get the desired effects? Thanks...SBN RESONATE
@labandlegacy3 жыл бұрын
In my opinion the reverbs are good, not great but if you are a standalone guy you should have either a mixer or pedal or something else that does reverb. All the other effects are very usable and can't provide a fairly polished sound. Depends on genre as well. R&B production/mixing is much more demanding than EDM.
