Adding a 1/8 heavy wire grate over the burner would help completely burn the propane

Those put out allot of heat but use up oxygen and produce allot of CO2, keep a window open a few inches so you don't pass out, the ceramic element propane heaters put out less fumes

Any smell. My force air propane heater has a smell and I cleaned it still smell it
@Vanturechase Жыл бұрын
I haven’t noticed any smells from the heater but my garage is well ventilated so that could be the reason.

Spark gap may be too far apart. I gently pulled it closer together and it works perfectly.

What happens if I leave the top down?
@Vanturechase Жыл бұрын
Not sure as I haven’t run it like that before. You could run it like that on low and test it. I feel that nothing will happen but I could be wrong. Be safe and stay warm.

How long does a 20lb tank?
@Vanturechase Жыл бұрын
I believe a 20lb tank would last me roughly 5-7 hours if running on max heat.

@@Vanturechase ok thanks! For reference, I have some wick style kerosene heaters that will go a good 9-10 hours on tank that costs about $8 from the pump in St. Paul Park. Fleet farm has K 1 pumps too. These are putting out much less heat though so I would say the operating price is very similar
