It took me years to realize why Joker was so scared of the IRS. I have heard that Tax Evasion is the one crime where you can't plead insanity on. Since Joker is considered crazy and mentally ill, instead of going to prison or getting the chair he is sent to Arkham to be treated.
@VegetaLF72 ай бұрын
It's also famously how Al Capone was taken down. The cops couldn't get him, so the IRS busted him on tax evasion.
@youssefhussein1615Ай бұрын
You know, I never heard of tax evasion before, I mean I took an Economics class in high school before I graduated just three months ago on June 21st of this year(2024), but I didn't learn something called tax evasion before, although I one day found just a few weeks ago a video from my Facebook about the part of this episode of the new Batman adventures season of Batman the animated series when a guy was talking to Joker, shows him on his calculator how much he has to pay, when Joker screams in a funny but weird way and falling down with his chair, and until the part when Joker was like "I'm crazy enough to take on Batman, but the IRS no(saying it in a laughing way) thank you" and that's it, and then I looked on my google to help me learn what tax evasion is just like what I always do for things I don't know of so I can get even smarter, and when I looked at what tax evasion is, it shows its definition saying "Tax evasion is an illegal attempt to defeat the imposition of taxes by individuals, corporations, trusts, and others", and that's all I got to say.

It's funny, but very unrealistic. Realistically, Joker wouldn't be afraid of IRS. @@fireeaglefitnessmartialart935That's funny because I thought all stories of Batman they show Two-face getting locked up at Arkham Asylum because of how insane he is like the moments he does like talking to himself with his normal voice for the right side of his face, and when he speaks to himself with an evil darker voice for the burned left side of his face and other things like that, especially for when he kills people, and I thought all stories show Penguin always getting locked up at Arkham Asylum too, because of how insane he is, when he acts like an animal when it comes to food, and other things like that, and I honestly find that that type of whole personality he shows in every other story of Batman and which he started showing in the best but underrated cartoon series of Batman called "The Batman" just better for me, especially for his voice being played by Tom Kenny and always laughing with that penguin-like laughter he makes good for him too, but I don't have a problem of Penguin in all stories of Batman being like what I just said combined with parts of how he acts like a business man for the Iceberg Lounge and stuff besides that for the rest of his insane and animal-like personality.

That’s the point in the show where Batman can counter/foresee most of his plans.
