Wow I can imagine what it must have been like seeing the very first episode. I feel like watching the very first one and the very last one back to back. That is if I can find them. I didn't have a very good upbringing and I remember watching his show every day and it being the one positive thing that I could count on. It's because of him that I know how to make homemade Play-Doh LOL. Definitely going to teach that to my child because I'm 3 months pregnant now and I'm definitely going to try to find the old episodes and show them to my child. I think it would be a good teaching experience. He left quite a good Legacy behind and he will be missed. He definitely deserve that Lifetime Achievement Award and the star on the Walk of Fame.

I should have gone to Mister Rogers' funeral, but I was in school having pajama day. I was very sad because Mister Rogers died and my teacher kept on yelling at me. My teacher: Why are you sad? Me: Because Mister Rogers died. My teacher: You're too old for Mister Rogers. That man was for babies. And you should be happy that he's dead. I'm so happy that he died. Come on, Hannah, dance with me! Me: No because I'm sad. Mister Rogers died. My teacher: What did I just finish telling you? Be more serious! This is my serious voice and my serious face. IF I HEAR ONE MORE WORD ABOUT MISTER ROGERS COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH ONE MORE TIME, THEN YOU'RE GOING STRAIGHT TO YOUR PARENTS' HOUSE! DO YOU HEAR ME?! Grow up! Man, I am just so glad that Mister Rogers died. If I was at his funeral right now, I will be wearing bright colors, playing loud fun party music, and dancing around. I will be laughing my butt off! Me: That's mean. My teacher: YOU'RE A LIAR! That's how my teacher viewed Mister Rogers as. Only for babies. She used to love Mister Rogers when she was a baby, but when she went to preschool, she began hating Mister Rogers more than anything.
