I don't think Mr. Rogers would be too happy if he saw how many people are calling him a saint. He was just a person just like anyone else, the only difference is he tried his hardest to be kind. To put him on such a tall pedestal would be to say that to be as kind as he was is unreachable to the average person when it's not.

That lady confirmed that everything we grew up to believe about Mister Rogers was absolutely 100% true! He was everyone's neighbor and the world was a much better place because of it.

It's not so much that Fred wasn't a saint but rather Fred would rather have us all understand we're all capable of demonstrating love and communicating in a loving and productive way. We have to choose to do so. I took it to mean that Fred's teaching and expression of care is achievable.

What kind of question is “do you ever fight?” Every married couple has disagreements... Mrs. Rogers seems like a very nice lady ❤️

I really enjoyed this interview and the questions asked. Mr. Rogers was a genuinely nice guy, and his wife Joanne is too.

Wow, if two people ever deserved each other, in the very best and highest sense of the word, it was those two.

She explained her thoughts so well and gave excellent examples of her intensions. I loved knowing the side of Fred he shared with us. And now it's so good to hear that he was that person in his personal relationships also. They extracted the best life has to offer. Both of them.
