The picture in question was drawn by an artiest named Arlen Schumer in the year 1999. He based the picture off of what he believed an early Bat-Man “could” have looked like. Taking inspiration from other 1930’s and 1940’s heroes (Like the first Green Lantern) and sketches from Leonardo Da Vinci. It was Arlen Schumer who drew the “Red Batman Picture” not Bob Kane, yet many people believe other wise. One of the reasons why is because some people (including Arlen Schumer himself) have lied about the true artiest of the picture. At the end of the day, it was Bob Kane who created Bat-Man. Bill was just a friend of Bob's and a Ghost Writer. Nothing more, nothing less. Most people who say "Bill deserves the credit" is basing that idea off of falsified evidence. Such "evidence" can be easily debunked as well. The proof for this is almost over whelming. If you don't believe me, I'll list off some more proof later on.

It's ironic because Marvel's the one that has copied most of DC's ideas: Justice League to Avengers, Darkseid to Thanos, Dr Fate to Dr Strange, Atom to Ant man, Deathstroke to Deadpool, Elongated Man to Mr Fantastic, Brainiac to Ultron, Solomon Grundy to Hulk, Green Arrow to Hawkeye, Black Canary to Black Widow, etc. Much like Bob Kane ripping off Bill Finger's idea, Marvel would be nothing without copying DC. @@canundrumsixnine6830 Most Marvel fans don't even know it used to be called something other than Marvel (it was Timely Comics as I remember). Most also just don't care either. Sadly this is the kind of thing that is so quickly forgotten. Well this and the fact that the same writers and artists worked for both DC and Marvel hence a lot of the characters were not rip offs because it was the same people making the characters for both companies. In other cases the DC writers and artists were friends with the Marvel ones. There was no "rivalry" between the two companies because both relied on many of the same people.

I don't like Batman because he has no super powers and for me how he fights crime has nothing to do with a bat has done to Bruce Wayne wheras Spiderman,for example,was bitten by a radioactive spider and then afterwards he could climb vertical surfaces and have spidersense. I know that, staying true to the comic,he could make web only by his invented wrist mecanism. Even the association between Bruce Wayne and bats is very vague and I don't like Batman having no bat like super powers.
