Mr T. had a huge impact on an entire generation of latch-key kids who were neglected by their parents. While some of us strong willed kids told adults to FO regularly and took our (then legal) beatings with half a smile, we listened to Mr T. Everyone's abusive father feared Mr T. Mr. T. spoke in more than just platitudes, he genuinely seems to be an insightful person and great communicator who really helped kids. Mr. T. was a little before my time, but Mr. Rodgers was still running, along with Levar Burton on Reading Rainbow and Bill Nye the Science Guy. Mr. T is Right On!! If kids aremt hearing this in their home often times that home is doomed. Kids grow up an run the street. We need this kind of lecturing right now
