I've never been a huge fan of the vertical pause/select button style controllers and given the d-pad I figured this would be a casual shooter, adventure/rpg controller. Still, really good option for something portable! What's nice about these cheaper controllers is how easy they are to replace compared to the features they offer. I spent quite a bit of time thinking about why that is and I an answer came through... More and more console players move to PC because it's a "healthier" ecosystem for many reasons. And on PC, the option is yours, further validating the interest in having different weapons (controllers) for different battles (games). 😅 I always loved controllers but I was not thinking I'd be talking about them so much when I started KZbin and not going to lie, I love doing so (and the other stuff too ofc).

@@thebdbrad6962 I mean, the top hours from these listings are usually an absurd (once in a lifetime) kind of scenario. For example, you are playing Flappy Bird with no RGBs, no rumble, lower polling rate, etc. I wouldn't expect 40hours to be "peak performance" results, but if you keep all the features on, which you should, I think 20 hours is more realistic. With that said, I don't know the total runtime. I also don't know of a way to know how full your battery is, though connecting it to the Switch or your phone might tell you in the Bluetooth settings. The way I look at it, always keep it docked and you'll never run out basically. Cheers

Not going to lie, I purposely avoided this question in this video, I have such an indecisive nature in my every day 😅 They are both phenomenal products in the "high value" category but I give it to Aolion. Reason being that while Nova Lite does take the crown in some categories, it isn't by a large amount. In contrast, the Aolion has a lot of extras going for it, dock, pretty RGB, 2 extra buttons, software support, gyro redirection. It's hard to deny just how much value is packed in this controller. It's my new value king.

Been watching some of your reviews lately and now i saw you just uploaded this, now i have no clue which controller i should buy. I really want the xbox series controller but I’m scared if it will have stick drift like almost all of my Dualsense controller. I never owned an Xbox console before so i have 0 experience when it comes to their controllers so i am a bit hesitant to buy their controllers. I just want a seamless wireless/plug and play experience controller for my PC because using a Dualsense on it is a bit of an hassle. @@zen170 I'd say the EasySMX X10 is probably a good fit to what you're looking for, or even the Nova Lite. The AL K10 would definitely be as well but a little more on the cheaper side of course. If you don't care for analog triggers, I would say the Nova Lite is furiously underrated (but it also has the Nintendo layout for face buttons). It's like a Nova Lite but with extra paddles and HD rumble. That HD rumble is so nice, and it has a proper X-Input mode like the others I named so you won't have problem with rumble.

The Nova Lite remains a phenomenal controller, get me no wrong. But I think this does pair beautifully with it! With that said, if you are not in a rush, I have a video coming out very shortly where I test nearly half a dozen controllers under 30USD. With that said, I think AliExpress has a sale right now so it may be a risk to hold off. Cheers!

I am almost certain all these 3rd party controllers come from the same company. This is basically just an 8BitDO pro. Hell, even the dock is the same. Yeah, these controllers look cool (especially these Evangelion ones) but real world experience leaves much to be desired. The overall build quality (long term) simply isn't there.

I've heard a lot of positive about the Direwolf 2, unfortunately, I never tested that one so I'm in no position. As for X10 vs AL K10, it's honestly a tough call. And it is shocking for me to even type this. I will however say that I would expect a superior experience over time with the X10. With that said, the AL K10 is just such a positive experience at the price point that it is. So I'd say if you're on a budget, get the K10 because the reality is it'll last you enough to put some money aside for another controller in a year or so if you want, and by then who's to say what the best will be. If money is of no object, I would say the X10 is the better controller of the two, even if the value is not quite as good, it remains a very solid solution.

It holds up nicely, definitely superior to the X05 but the X10 is a bit harder to compare to because the quality of the X10 does triumph over the K10. The K10 does have more features overall such as a bundled dock.

How important is the d-pad for you? Because if it is, the K10 has better d-pad over the other two. If sticks is the most important, go X10. If latency and style is, go 2C. Out of the three, I'd personally choose in this order: X10 > K10 > 2C.

That does sound abnormal. Have you tried putting the controller in pairing and then disconnecting and reconnecting the dongle? That might do it for the initial pairing. Good luck!

It has an Xbox mode, which makes it be perceived as an Xbox controller for your PC and such but it does not readily work on an Xbox console if that's the question, not without an extra adapter to make it work.

For me, in my day-to-day, I tend to favor quality over quantity so my answer would be the X10. That said, both are great options!

They share so much that’s it’s borderline ridiculous considering the price gap, and this one has a dock, and this one has gyro remapped to sticks, as well as software support. If you are ggoing for value, this one wins hands down, if you are going for immersiveness and overall quality of components, the KK3 Pro wins.

KK3 Pro or AL K10? Though personally I'm more concerned with the QC lottery and build quality. I saw the 8bitdo 2C review and I think I fall under that casual kind of gamer, but I still prefer getting something that is performant. (I personally got the feeling that it's not a product you would choose for yourself so I'd rather lean into something that does excite or "scream value" at you) Idk if the K10 is something you'd say is "good enough, period" or just "good enough for the price and value." (To my understanding Guilikit is more the devil you know rather than a reputable brand ,idk how to properly say it)

The K10 has proven to be quite a robust contender so far. And I'd say it's a mix of both you said, "good enough, good enough for". Of course, I put my hands on so many controllers so it's easy to see how K10 isn't built with the same quality but it's not like it's cheap, it's not like it's basic. It's really a top contender in the value section, because it offers so much despite being a "value-centric" product. I think the AL K10 sounds like a good match for what you want. But if you rely on your controllers for FPS a lot, I'd say the Nova Lite is probably going to be better, despite sacrificing so many features, the sticks do feel better in comparison.

I mean, the X10 is a very good controller but it's also one that is more "focused" on offering a little at great quality, whereas the K10 offers a lot at decent quality. If I was trying to get serious into a game, I'd favor the X10 over the K10 but if I just wanted a controller to play leisure type games, and have a fun time without being too serious about it, the K10 is hard to beat. It offers so much for so little, it remains extremely shocking how feature-rich this controller is.

Looks like a Brand that bought this Base Controller/Ali Express/Shenzhen Controller and branded it for themself. Nice. Looks to be a good one. Most important thing after feel is if there will be a Cable, since i hate wireless and charging. Have a 3m USB C Cable coming from the Back of my Desk. But my Xbox One Elite Controller dies. This was the greatest scam Controller. Stickdrift and the rubber Parts are just glued on and they come of. Feels extremely cheap. Sad. It initiallly felt nice. I'll have a look at this one! At this Price point!

The cable included is pretty generic, having a braided 3m one would've been awesome. With that said, I'll take a generic cable over losing other more premium features. And smh about the Xbox Elite controller... Yup, these things broke so easy, it didn't get exposure like RRoD had but if it did, I would think that it was probably just as high a risk of failure. I don't think I've seen people talk about a controller breaking that easily and quickly as often as I have the Xbox Elite.
