A google search suggests road debris and uv sunlight takes off the protective coating from headlights leaving them hazy looking. In the absence of getting them redone, try rubbing with toothpaste with baking soda. It’s mildly abrasive but not enough to scratch the glass.

That’s a great idea! I use toothpaste on my silver jewelry, so I can see why it might work on these… Drew did reapply protective coating as you saw so I wonder how that will affect clearing them off more…

Those things you couldn't identify in the grocery store are tamarind. Great for some very yummy Mexican dishes and also used in candy. Once you get to a point where you like Mexican candy, you can count yourself Mexican.

Ah, seeing that store brought back memories of all the brands we grew to love! But I think the best part was the "home delivery" service with fresh foods and the catch of the day. That's what drew us to Mexico in the first place; the sense of community. The locals are always so sweet and so helpful - it's no wonder you two are all smiles!

WOW you still have fruit!!! I am in my hometown in Southern Utah right now visiting my family. I brought 38 bags of fresh fruit! Each bag has grapefruits, lemons, tangelos and clementines. The fruit is still good! Glad you enjoyed it!

Drew- Water filter, if running 3 filter system change all 3 at same time, interval 3-6 months based on condition of the sediment filter. A 5 filter system change the 3 every quarter, the 4 filter at 6 months and the 5th filter at 12 months. Pick up a simple water test quality stick (on Amazon about $15.00) TDS Meter they are great. Test the water quality before the filter change then after, you will be amazed at the meter readings delta. Then you can begin to base your filter change intervals based on the test readings. Since you take on water from so many different sources dont skip on filter costs trying to extend the Carbon or the 3rd filter. Have used the 5stage system going on 18 years they are great !

We use peanut butter on the headlight lens and it works great for us. Rub it on, leave for 5 minutes, and polish off.

Drew if you have any mosquito repellent with deet just put some on a cloth towel and just clean the headlight lens. Then allow the lens to to dry because the deet will eat into the plastic lens but will dry clean.

Ref: Breakouts - the best thing to dry up acne is a cotton ball saturated in apple cider vinegar applied 2 or 3 times a day. Works great on teenage acne.
