Great doctor!! In fact psychiatrists are suppose to make sure people can live their lives as normal as possible and stabilize them with the best treatment for them, whatever that means as what works for someone may not work for other person, many mental health diseases have no cure but if the patient can find peace and acceptance it helps them a lot to improve their life quality

@amymoriyama6616
@amymoriyama6616 2 жыл бұрын
That story is a strange one. Typically, hallucinations aren't helpful. It makes me suspect that they were not actually hallucinations and were real. The questions are though, where did they come from and why did they bother to help this random woman? If it were some secret government program test, how would they have known about the tumor? If it were extraterrestrials, why would they want to help this specific woman and not many of the other women out there who need help? There are so many questions and no way to ever get any answers and I am not one who can be comfortable with that.

@@amymoriyama6616 or it's fake story as it's not documented in any scientific manner it's just word of mouth. Voices were probably coused by tumor, it's well know our brain is well aware of many of many things bothering us but most of time it's just communicated by bad feeling or unease. Tumors are known to generate voices or even giving ppl some new skills before becoming life treating. Some ppl after removing tumors get to keep new skill as changes in brain often are permanent. It may seem like gods work or magic but 100% of time it's just science.

It could be some kind of aliens that maybe do like to watch some people like a real life alien big brother and they grow to like some people and decide to help them maybe. I mean I dont know but the thing is it happaned and is documented so we cant argue the facts and given it is so fantastical what happened the explanation could be too very fantastical like the aliens that helped. Or angels or whatever but ther is no common sense explanation for this. Given there are many things we dont know and dont understand it could be some being that helped. I mean we help ants for example they cant fathom what is going on you know becasue they live in a 2 dimensional space while we live in a 3 dimensional space there could be beings that live in higher dimensions like the 4th and we are made through evolution to only see and understand the 3 dimensions but the beings living in the fourth can. Niel de grasse tyson has an interesting explanation to this dimensional thing and it could be maybe related to this. You know for an ant they cant fathom the 3rd dimension which is height/vertical plane and for example an ant can only use the space of an table in 2 dimension length and width and in their understanding they dont have more room but we know that we can stack things up and use the 3rd dimension ie the vertical plane. In the ants world they cant fathom that if you take something from their 2 dimensions and put it higher in the vertical plane, for ants its like it disappeared. And for beings in the foruth dimension its the same if we have a room and see it full we think we ran out of space but the being can say why dont you put it here in the fourth diagonal plane or whatever we call it. And they take the box and put it there. But for us it looks like it just disappeared the same like for ants in the with the vertical space. So wo make it short who knows maybe the beings living on earth in the foruth dimension helped and intervened in this case. I mean I dont know I am just creativley imagining how it could be explained since there is no explanation and I wanted to try. What do you guys think?

Brenda's story was all weird and all but the thing that perplexed me the most is that the voice said "...My friend and I used to work at the Children’s Hospital." Are they ghosts? Or workers from a very technologically advanced science facility that they can communicate via telepathy? Or aliens that lived with people for a period of time? Oh my..

I believe brenda was targeted out by people basically breaching her privacy by using neural monitoring scans. Thats how they found her tumor US military scientists reported that a procedure called transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) boosted the mental skills of personnel. The devices are available on the open market, but there are concerns over their safety. Most people who experience these “hallucinations” are called targeted individuals And i for one can tell you, they’re not hallucinating. There is petitions and new laws being proposed against this technology being abused by ex neuroscientists and gangstalking groups targeting innocent vulnerable people out for personal gain. Much of the technology has been developed for hospitals to diagnose or treat medical conditions, but some of the tools - such as brainwave monitoring devices that allow people to play video games with their minds, or brain stimulators that claim to boost mental performance - are finding their way into shops. Makes me think people within that “children’s hospital” wanted a lab rat to test it on.. Unfortunately that was Brenda. But these and other advances in neurotechnology raise fresh threats to privacy and personal freedom, according to Marcello Ienca, a neuroethicist at the University of Basel, and Roberto Andorno, a human rights lawyer at the University of Zurich. The suggested new rights assert what the researchers call cognitive liberty, mental privacy, mental integrity and psychological continuity. The first of these concerns a person's freedom to use, or refuse to use, brain stimulation and other techniques to alter their mental state. If adopted, it could defend people against employers who decide their staff might be more effective if they zapped their brains with weak electrical currents.

I love that psychiatrist's willingness to give their patient a recommendation for a brain scan just to alleviate stress. So many people would say that it was a waste of medical resources or that allowing it was just enabling a delusion, but the reality is that lasting stress has very real consequences on the brain and heart. Even if she had no brain tumor, the scan would have helped alleviate her anxiety and would have helped her.

I had a dream that someone told me my mom had a brain anyeurism when I was in 4th grade. The only issue was that I didn't know what an "anyeurism" was. I had to ask my librarian at my school (whom I liked to talk to) what that is. She told me. I begged my mom to get a scan for about a decade before she finally did. She did have one. An intact one, sitting in her brain, but there nonetheless. Still has it, over a decade later. Sometimes the voices are telling the truth lol.

I used to work for a doctor of oriental medicine. He was a very spiritual man and psychic/spiritual things would happen around him all the time. He was old and going blind so I helped him by driving to his clinic and back home etc. One time I was walking him to his house and I distinctly heard some kind of radio transmission. I couldn't discern what was said but it definitely sounded like a brief call on a radio, it sounded operational in nature. This was on the open lawn in front of his house, there was nothing in that area that could have made that sound. I asked him if he heard it and when he asked what it was I told him there was something that sounded like a radio conversation. He would often say wise things straight from his intuition, sometimes they were enigmatic. This time he something like, "Maybe they're talking about taking us in." After asking what he meant I understood that he was talking about being ushed into the camp of some advanced and positive entities, perhaps after he dies. It was so interesting, like it was a message of spiritual intervention, but it wasn't very spiritual feeling. It gave the sense that there are some extra dimensional folks who are very much boots on the ground. Now that he has passed I can only imagine what sort of company he has joined. That was the only time I've ever heard something like that.

It is possible to have audio hallucinations (sounds or even voices) with a brain tumour, but boy were these ones accurate. The only time cancer told on itself 😂 The voices were most likely audio hallucinations that were fueled by her deep subconscious that noticed the warning signs. Just like in a dream, they say it's ruled by our subconscious thoughts. My grandfather didn't find out he had a brain tumor until he fell on his ass one morning in the kitchen and couldn't get back up. Shortly arriving at the hospital they saw there wasn't anything physically wrong from his fall.. other then some slight bruising. he was also confused - saying the wrong year wrong president wrong location where he lived etc so they checked his head thinking he must have hit his head and not remembered. Unfortunately it turned out to be cancer, deep in the middle of his brain so they couldn't remove it all. He would die 9 months later. Brain cancer can do crazy things to you that's for sure. Like for example.. we could only have on nature shows. If anything had people in it he would think he was living it. When we watched spy kids .. he paused the movie looked at me and said "are we going to be okay ?" He was truly scared... Another time it was me myself and Irene he was watching.. I was walking past and he called me Irene. I'm glad this lady got saved by her tumor.. I've seen brain cancer first hand and it's not a fun way to leave this world.

My father(may he rip) had a similar experience. People communicated with him telepathically. Then, after a while, a letter came for him by mail, by those same people. He was so confused as they knew his address (Mexico) but he was so scared about all of that, he got rid of the letter. He never told anyone but my mother. That happened to him before I was even born and he never stated any names, any indication as to where they were or who they were or anything. They, according to him wanted to help him develop/learn about his "gift" but he never replied and ever since he wouldn't talk about it. He was never the kind to lie about things, especially something like this. You could easily write it off as some kind of hallucinations but the physical letter, describing his interaction with that person, was proof it wasn't his imagination.

@@kdmill7563 That's legit. I hobbled into a hospital here after falling from a tree, they did expensive tests and xrays for 9 hours, told me it was just anxiety. My foot was swollen and HURT. Went to a foot doctor, he took one look at my xrays, and within seconds pointed on the picture the hairline fracture I had, bone pinching in there. Most "local" hospitals here are ass.

I was actually treated at that hospital last year for a (thankfully) temporary neurological condition. Was seen within a couple of days of symptoms occurring and saw a specialist, had a scan and multiple tests over the next few days, numerous follow-up appointments, and within a few months was completely better. Obviously pay for it through taxes, but never had to worry about getting my credit card out! God save the NHS - and feel sorry for my American cousins.

The fact that two pairs of undercover cops both fell for each other’s cover doesn’t prove how good their cover was. If someone pretending to be French fools another person pretending to be French, with both doing fake accents, you wouldn’t proclaim how good they both are. The true test is if they can fool and blend in with the genuine article.

Brenda's story is awesome, particularly cause at first I was thinking that the tumor is what caused the voices plain and simple, and her body, amazingly self-aware, basically just used that to verbalize the situation to her. But then the fact that they say "goodbye" after the tumor is gone is baffling, and funny too

as a Brian surgery patient it's not baffling it's like phantom limb syndrome. I absolutely feel the space in my brain that's missing. I have a theory that when the big injury happened my body took random knee neurons to try and plug the hole and that's why I can feel myself think. I bet she had phantom limb like recall of the voice. Brains are so fucking cool.

Not true. It's just that usually we only hear the stories of people whose voices led them to do horrific things because that's the news that sells. People whose voice were helpful (generally in minor everyday ways) or neutral (not helpful ot unhelpful, just there) aren't as interesting to society in general. "If it bleeds, it leads" is a real thing.

@Elizabeth Cross this was in England which has a somewhat similar public health system to us here in Australia. Almost everything is free (unless you want to attend a private hospital with your doctor of choice and/or have special services added on to your medical ones) but there is a waiting list. One month is quite a short wait to something like this with no symptoms. But in an emergency you get immediate service.

Both sides thought hurling insults at each other was an acceptable way to try to get the other side to stand down. I'd imagine everyone who reads this has been insulted, however I'd highly doubt it's made most of you feel like standing down. As far as them being so good at their jobs neither knew they were undercover, that's ridiculous. That's a complete lack of communication at best.
