I know I just said “2 to 3 times per week” for the first time on this video, but it’s been coming for the last few weeks. Standards are getting higher for stories, and I’m spending more time researching to do a better job telling them. (For reference it takes 20-30 hours for me to create a video, that is then edited by Wes and Tori for another 7-10 hours) Overall I believe the videos are improving, even if they are coming out at a slightly less frequent pace. We love making videos and have no intention of stopping anytime soon so don’t view this “downgrade” as a sign of anything bad on the horizon!!! Thank you all!!!

Man the 2nd story was wild. Talk about sleeping with the enemy. I first heard this story on Beyond Belief Fact or Fiction. Those that sleepwalk are fully capable of eating, talking, driving etc while completely asleep. I myself and my dad were sleepwalkers when younger. My uncle once caught me sleepwalking and about to leave the house. He tried to keep me safe. However I pinned him against the wall and was aware of his presence. He kept tabs on me while I walked around the neighborhood. He's former military and seen things. But said me sleepwalking and overpowering him terrified him. He likened me to a dangerous tiger. I feel for the guy in the second story. The most dangerous enemy is one within.

@@Eli-xf1eni read an article that says your eyes are open, that doesn’t mean you’re awake. when you sleep walk the only parts of the brain that are active are the ones responsible for vision, movement and emotion. the part responsible for memory and rational thinking are not. basically the parts that makes you a sensible human being are asleep, you are just going through the motions. kind of like muscle memory. it’s common for someone who’s sleepwalking to become aggressive when someone tries waking them up or intervening since again, the part of your brain that lets you think rationally is out. a sleepwalker can look just like they’re awake but not be. which is why it’s hard to prove whether or not the person actually was sleepwalking when they committed a murder. they can only look at family history of it, and other factors. they don’t have enough research on it, and it’s very interesting.

The sad thing is that so few understand sleepwalking! I did it a few times as a mid-teen but not (as far as I know) until I was in my thirties when I had a bout of it and then several years later. What those had in common were at the times they happened, I was under a lot of stress over which I had no control. If one does not live alone, it can be a non-problem but if we live alone, we have little or no way of knowing it happened. I can remember in my fifties waking up one morning with my legs aching like I had been on a long walk. Though there was no evidence I ever left the house, I will never know for certain. My youngest son sleepwalked when he was around ten. We did not realize it until we heard him open the front door! We then installed a chain lock at the top of the door (beyond his reach) so if he tried to leave the house, we would be awakened. As those who have dealt with it know, it can be a bit scary and can be dangerous as well. The sleepwalker must have ingrown cautions to not put self into dangerous situations such as walking into traffic.

As a former foster child myself I'm heart broken. That poor kid was sent to that disgusting man for protection and love, but what that poor kid got was torture. The system is broken and so many kids get abused and murdered because they get placed with sick people who only are in it for the money. Foster kids are not a source of income. Don't use them for money. They are human beings that have already been dealt a fucked up life, and they need love. Protection and someone to actually be there for them. Ive heard is many of these stories where the are kids taken away from their families because they were unsafe, just to get put in another place that is unsafe. There are some amazing foster parents out there and I thank you will all my heart for what you do. And for those that take in these already broken children and break them even more hell is waiting for you. And I pray you all get what you deserve! May that poor boy find peace. 😢

I was a foster kid in Florida for 2 years and I gotta say that there wasn't 1 good family. When I wasn't being bullies by black kids for being white I was fighting off peedos from my sister and I. I got moved to 4 separate houses because I wouldn't be a servant to these peoples desires. My sister and I were just a paycheck to these people. I am convinced that peedos work high up in foster care or else something would of been done years ago, I am now 29. I was 9 then. NO hate towards black kids cause they were all fucked up anyways in worse situations but those predators need to be dealt with no one at the offices would even listen to us. Very troubling how a million kids go missing from foster care every year and no one cares

On the flip side, my older sister got into foster care one time with her ex husband. They all did their best for the boy. We all did, extended family and all. He rejected it and threw it in our faces however. This is what troubles me the most tho. There are situations such as yours and the boy that got murdered paired in similar parallel with the boy my sister fostered. Putting that together I think is what makes the foster system as a whole so fucked up. You got these self-righteous assholes who use kids as a paycheck and ruin their minds to a point that when they come to a good home like my sister and my family and I that they don't trust us and end up becoming a mentally ill adult because of it. It really hurts me in the heart hearing this but please know there are good people still out there. Least I know we country folk are 😊 may the boy find peace and may you find peace kind sir. I don't know what the whole secrecy was about. I mean, if you want the death penalty, and you're willing to confess as much as it takes to get it, then why not confess to everything? What does he gain out of keeping quiet? It's not like he wanted freedom... and after confessing to multiple murders, it's not like he was trying to save any relationships. I thought it'd be even better for his rep to be the most notorious serial killer or something. Obviously I'm wrong, but if anyone can shed some light as to why, I'd appreciate it. I just don't understand why he'd be dumb to confess to the rest. Why not go out "proud" and rack up the numbers for his own twisted glory, so to speak?

After having read the book about Ed Edwards, that was meticulously researched by a former homicide detective, I have to admit, the case for Ed Edwards, from his family members living on the block of one of the Zodiac's victims, to his former cellmate who was the one that Ed was trying to frame for the Zodiac killings, to previous wives and proven innocent victims who were framed and executed for crimes that Edwards probably committed, Edwards was totally capable of being the Zodiac and planned on taking credit for the crimes once he had a confirmed unshakable date for his own execution. He wanted to go out in a blaze of public fascination. He always wanted the recognition, but not the consequences. He was deprived of both by age and disease. But, the book is a fascinating read.

@@dislikemyvideos7993 When I was around 7~8 I had frequent night terrors (different than nightmares) which typically causes a child to sit up and scream/thrash around in their sleep but I had a unique spin on mine because I also slept walk simultaneously, this caused me to FULL SPRINT up and down the hallways screaming at the top of my lungs in the middle of the night. Needless to say this scared the shit out of my family and they nearly called a priest to exorcize me. It always blew my mind that I never tripped, slipped or ran into anything during these episodes. Later on in my early teenage years this type of sleep walking briefly returned except instead of sprinting I was walking up to my moms room and clawing at the base of the door. My older brother found me, asked what I was doing and I responded "mom is in the floor" which properly freaked him the hell out. I can still remember all of these things happening but while it was happening I was more or less just watching it unfold like a dream, as if my ego wasn't present (I was asleep after all). I've also experienced plain old sleep walking where I have no memory of it and I simply relocated in my sleep, one of my favorite times was falling asleep in the basement where my room was and waking up in the living room which I would have to of gone up 2 sets of stairs, we had just recently moved in too so it was still somewhat unfamiliar terrain. Moral of the story, people can do some INSANE things in their sleep.

I'm sitting there with tremors, nausea, w/ discomfort in my chest, unable to keep food down for almost a week straight, puking over taking a sip of water or random gag coughing... trying to explain that I USED to drink quite a bit at night while gaming online with friends, but that was more than 2.5 years ago and I 'd stopped. Despite my consistent answers all but one seemed to take me seriously and I saw him early on the day prior... once. I grew up around real alcoholics. Had nightmares about dying in a drunk crash into my 30's. I will leave a date who drinks and intends to drive after. i won't drive after 1 beer. I don't hunt with anyone who drinks a single beer. i am not better than anyone, i just hate alcohol that much.
@Wondrous_Unicorn Жыл бұрын
I hate alcohol as well; grew up in an alcoholic household as well. I detest the shit. No one needs to be able to consume a beverage that can impair one’s ability to such an extent as alcohol, and it can be bought while you take your kids to Chuck E. Cheese (beer) We’ve accepted it to be okay as a society. You cannot go to a lake without watching people drinking and swimming. None of that would be acceptable to do on cocaine or heroin “people might not understand the risk they run”. That’s a load of bullshit. Our society has made it ACCEPTABLE, not tolerable, but ACCEPTABLE and NORMAL to be impaired from alcoholic beverages. But ohhhh no, the guy down the street gets caught with two joints just in his possession, not even smoking them, and not being impaired and that guy gets “intent to distribute” (this is a true story). I had two rolled joints on me and they tried to say I was a drug dealer. I was at a bar, I was not drinking, I hadn’t even smoked ANY marijuana all day. So it’s okay for everyone to be stumbling out of the bars and to their cars. I was designated driver. I had the two joints rolled for when I got home to relax. I just forgot I had them in my bag still. I rolled them prior to going out that night. I didn’t even plan going out. Someone called and asked if I wanted to shoot some pool. I said yeah. You guys have a few beers. I’ll drive. Took three years in the courts to finally get the damn charge thrown out

I actually hate the taste of beer more than vodka or whiskey. (Not that I like those much either.) It just tastes like moldy bread to me. Honestly though, If I'm gonna drink, I'll drink something that tastes good. Like a margarita. And I'll drink it at home, cause home is a lot more comfortable and relaxing than a sketchy bar.

Ed Edwards from what I can piece together so far 100% fits the zodiac killer. He got out of jail in 1967, he claimed to be a reformed person, he was reformed in a way but only in the sense that he learned how to not be caught by outsiders. Ed was a an ex-marine, I seen the sketch of the zodiac killer and there is a definite resemblance there, he is a socio/psychopath, which goes big into his grandiose idea and going on TV and becoming a motivational speaker. The other guy they try to say was the zodiac killer could have been someone he knew or a simple copycat killer who looked up to the real deal. It just so happens that his killings disappear from the time frame he was in jail and started back up shortly after he was released.

We don’t give that out often. I mean you’d have to be like a serial killer with a big ole list of murders to get that level of punishment” And then he proceeds to confess to being the zodiac killer. Cmon dude it was so obvious what he was doing. I don’t understand why they didn’t pick up on it and use it to milk out every confession they could!

Probably because, despite what media likes to say, almost all cops have pretty strict morals and ethics. I agree that doing that would've been a great way to trick him into confessing to more murders but it would've also been shady as hell. Even though he's a confessed murderer at this point, and a giant piece of hot garbage to boot, it still would've been unethical to lie to him. The good guys have to be good all the time, that's why they're the good guys and also why so few people are capable of doing what they do.

@@TheNuckinFoob absolutely. Also, once a compulsive liar realizes he can further manipulate he'd be likely to just make up bullshit to get what he wants. That would lead to a huge waste of resources on behalf of the taxpayer & would most likely interfere with justice being served.
