The problem is you have a whole mix of people participating in online gaming spanning a wide age range, starting from 10 year old children or younger all the way to 40 or 50 year old adults. Nothings super special about 18, the adults just felt more comfortable making rude jokes to those who are legally adults, or close to that. In a way his trans-ing was actually good because it got him away from his little kid before he undoubtedly would have done stuff to him, it starts like this it ends in them touching their kids I have seen this irl with a family friend whos dad touched them when they were a kid.
