Normally I'd have tried to be right on it......but full disclosure my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer about a year ago....Doctors gave him 6 months....but still giving him that now. Dont feel sorry for him or me tho. He straps on his chemo pouch and jumps on his tractor....was still doing most of the farm work until lately. I probably wont be doing much on the channel for a while because as you can see time of the essence with my Dad. But I sure appreciate your service!

Well I wouldnt expect it to be a VISE for something like say removing a magazine tube on a Mossberg 500....but for smaller things like what your talking about should be fine. Its a rock solid set up for sure. Worse case if you had something super serious you could always get a few small clamps to snug it down to a table. I would think you would be fine as is tho. I've had no problems doing any of this with mine and I"ve never bolted it down.

Chrome lol? Don't like the price now, chrome would definitely send it in the wrong direction. If the Tipton Ultra should cost $50 bucks, what should the ones that actually cost $50 cost? Free? Have you had any problems with the height adjusters loosing the ability to stay up no matter how tight you crank down the knobs? I have read several people complain about the fact that they drop down all the time. Amazon reviewers say they are very disappointed. Although I can't find anything else out there.

Yeah unfortunately they raised the price to 125 now.....but I will say.....I really love that vise. I made that video when I first bought it....and hadnt had time to put it to alot of use. I still think its overpriced.....but a dang good vise. I may get my father n law the "best vise" version....its more affordable and compact....yet seems to be a great choice. Thanks for watching!
