I never really thought about this even after listening to the original or what I think the original reading was from Lighthouse Horror but rule one would have to be the most dangerous. Not only for the employees but the customers too. I can say with complete honesty that I have actually left to use the restroom or get me a refill on my drink while a movie was playing before, and if this cinema and its rules existed, I could see myself accidentally threatening the world just by leaving cinema 3 to go use the restroom or something. But that makes me wonder. Do you have to open the door from the outsid? And if so, do you have to be an employee or a customer to do it does it matter?

You Can open the door, Just Not when a movie is currently playing. That's why he was able to go inside after the movie ended to check for any signs of fire damage, and how customers can safely enter/leave. It's also why David had Sean turn on all the Projectors near the end, he needed a Movie to be playing in Room 3, to sacrifice himself, without Sean getting suspicious.

Like they said, they get the normal pay of a Manager, not 8 bucks an hour. They also have a criminal record, and can't really find work anywhere else because of it. Their options are working here, or being Homeless really, and most of these rules aren't that bad.
