Do you have a video thats talks about fcr 39 vs fcr 41??
@shadow1057204 жыл бұрын
FCR site even says 39mm for stock restrictive exhaust and 41mm for aftermarket better flowing exhaust who is arguing against that?

Hey I got the FCR41 On my 2020 DRZ400SM, it’s awesome but as the bike really warms up, my right off the line power drops. Like the power to take off from a stop. It’s like the very very beginning of the throttle wants to kill it. Air box cut, full exhaust system. Stock gears Any ideas would help. I been turning up the idle to be able to have it ride right....could it be too much fuel?
@Crinklidge3 жыл бұрын
That always usually means it's too lean or rich. Just requires fucking with it until it's right. Though it's been 8 months so you probably figured it out lol

Did you upgrade your throttle cable??

@@normalisntcomingback.Jesusis I never did that…so shortly after that install I ended up doing a engine build with ATHENA 440cc big bore kit, stage 2 hotcams and a had it all tuned. Ever since then, 2 years ago, it rips in all gears and all rpms, I think that carb was “slightly big” (obviously) but this whole combo now is about 50 HP and it pulls strong to 90MPH stock gearing. Thanks for the reply, it’s been a long while.. (just realized I’m logged into my different account) but yeah FCR41 is huge but with Athena and cams it’s a ridiculous easy and reliable powerhouse and still just requires simple maintenance 😂 unlike a lot of euro bikes

Brock Dunn 100%, if you want power for wheelies, better response and more top end rev that’s the one we recommend and run.

Thx for the positivity 🥳 This was so long ago yet now we run a 42.5 after selling 4000 of these we realized that’s the only way to roll! Remember new efi 250f bikes are running a minimum of a 42 all the way up to 47mm 🥳
