FINALLY! I’ve been waiting for this. I’m so glad you’re reviewing the GB350S (CB350RS). I currently ride the H’ness CB350 (GB350) and would love for viewers around the world to take a look at Honda’s new array of its 350cc models and you’ve made that happened! I hope you’ve tried out the GB350 & GB350C (CB350) whilst you’re at it in Japan. Not a speed demon these machines but a proper cruiser for sure. More torque and horsepower than the Royal Enfield’s array of 350cc models and a definite thumping bopbopbop sound too for sure. I love RE but Honda’s engine reliability and refinery beats RE overall in specifications and smoothness etc. However, an RE is an RE, the bike’s character is still unbeatable.

I have the Australian version of the GB350 and have done 5k km on it. It is great: lots of thumpy character without any vibrations. Only thing is that it can struggle with steep hills and overtaking. I hear they are not Euro 5 compliant which is why they are only available in a few countries. They are very well made and I like the seating position and the heel-toe shifter.

I quite like the X350 and X500. I am thoroughly enjoying these Japan videos, having lived there as I told you in my comments last video. The GB350 is a good little bike. The Kawasaki Estrella 250 has been in the Asian market since 1992. I had a Suzuki DR250SH in Tokyo. When I was over there the GBP was worth 250 yen. In 1992, I bought a new Honda XRV750 Africa Twin RD04 for 3,000 GBP when they were over 5,300 GBP in England. Great video. Nick

I'd be happy to sell mine if you're willing to import it haha. Mine is the same bike, but in red. Since you liked the GB350, when you're back in the UK, try to seek out a Honda XBR500. It's from the late 80s and was Honda's take on a modern big single roadster. 7:20 That Harley wasnt sold in India but in China. Its just a rebadged benelli /QJMotor bike. The Indian one is X440, a 440cc air cooled long stroke bike made from ground up which is the most authentic attempt at making a single cylinder Harley so far, even Harley's own bike like Street 750 feel less like Harley then the x440. It's 440cc because that's half of their old 880cc sportster. That bike so far is India exclusive.

@@ChancellorBeeHaw I think the Honda 350 is retro...similar to the Hondas of the late 60s and 70s, whereas the RE Classic is 1950s and early 60s in appearance. Small correction: the X350 and X500 are actually Harley's collaboration with QJ Motors from China, which is not sold in India. Harley's exclusively Indian endeavour is with Hero MotoCorp, and is called the X440 - a long stroke, air and oil cooled single, which is closer to the Enfield 500s.
