mr4422 Thanks for saying so. I'm glad to hear you're trying some out. And I'm always glad to hear when someone appreciates the detailed nature of my videos. I know they can be quite long, with a lot of talking and more shots than might be needed, but I really do want to be as detailed as possible--especially for people curious about MREs who might not know much about them and those thinking of buying some.

I have gotten an MRE with the new heater (the one you used) and I must say it really does have a problem heating up two meals instead of one. I kind of sucks because the second one is like a odd luke-warm kind of still cold. I hope they fix this.

Would you be willing to try and put the meal pouches inside thd FRH bag from meal kit supply, like the genuine ones? I couldnt see what harm it would be. But was curious if it would heat up better considering the meal pouches are trapped in that bag with the steam, etc... might get a hotter meal. Those FRH bags are much larger as well.

As good as the cookies and pound cakes are, I bet that pudding would make a nice dessert diversion for a service member. I'd have been licking the inside of that wrapper to get it all. I bet they could make other flavors too. Thanks for posting the video!

The heating pouch does have enough energy to heat both entree and the side dish? You were just trying to heat both at once as an experiment?

And the crap that they are now issuing in these MRE . The other heaters were really hot . And that sucks if these heaters are being issued . Anyway, wanted to see how the food came out with the standard heating ? :-(. That is now in the MRE .. Any way. I do enjoy your vids! This was cool too thanks!

@tophton78018 жыл бұрын
Certain minerals (potassium, sodium, magnessium, calcium, etc) on your body condict electricity through it depending on how muh you have of them in you. Too much or too few will hurt you. These minerals are eliminated through sweat and urine. Electrolyte beverages aim to restore these minerals on your body by adding an extra of these into the mix.

MealKitSupply doesn't print the menu on their Canadian MREs (they come in clear packages) :(
@gschultz910 жыл бұрын
I had heard that from someone else. That's an interesting difference. I wonder if it has something to do with postal or government regulations where they need to be able to see what's inside. Just a guess. Of course, as with most clear-packaged civilian MREs you should be able to see what the entree is through the bag.
@guspaz10 жыл бұрын
gschultz9 When I got my cases of US Military MREs, customs had opened one of the two boxes and cut open one (just one) of the bags for inspection and then re-sealed the box. The MealKitSupply ones seem to ship from inside of Canada, though: I think MKS ships them in bulk to a Canadian warehouse and then distributes them from there. That might explain why MKS's Canadian store was out of stock for a few months and then started pre-orders. The clear MKS bags are all identical (with very little text) so you really do have to look at the entree through the plastic to tell them apart. I don't think it matters much (who cares what colour the plastic is?) although it might be nice to know what's inside the bags without opening them (you can't see stuff in the middle of the stack).
