I'm so thankful they restored as much as they could of this original version. The 2016 revision with Dr. Ghostman was so tonally confused, what with the design team trying to play down the creepy supernatural stuff with a way too happy guide who felt like a presenter on a pre-schooler's show. It's a shame we'll most likely never get the talking portrait of the original back but I'm just happy the rest of the attraction is mostly restored to its former glory.

These spinning room swing things are really pretty neat, and I think it's very strange how popular they are in Europe while being basically nonexistent in the US. The first time I ever ran into this ride type in my life was Cassandra's Curse at EuropaPark. It's a shame, they always seem to have really fun theming.

Love this Dark Ride, and so glad it is still there! Do you have any footage of one of my other fave Dark Rides that is no longer at Drayton Manor-Haunted Crypt-from1970 to 2001. That later replaced by an indoor play area as you prob know 😀

@@EuroThemeParkArchive Ahhhhh brill, yea sure-no problem take your time will be very worth the wait thanks 😀 What you think of the very sad news that-Flambards Theme Park will close its doors permanently with immediate effect. 😢 At least on their website they said: Additionally, the much-loved Victorian Village exhibition now requires extensive remedial work; it will remain closed while we investigate alternative options to preserve and honour this unique collection.

The facade looked incredible in its opening year wow, the original exit was behind what was the pre Cartoon Network buildings?

Wish they could restore the facade back to this. It looks a bit depressing with how overgrown and watered down the colours are now.
