Nice video; I agree with "when in doubt, play Beatles." I have 15 Beatle tunes available in my repertoire and one song that I frequently do that Beatle aficionados routinely decry is "Ob La Di Ob La Da." Yeah, yeah, I know what people say about it but you know what? It's a consistent "foot tapper" and much singing along with the chorus! We are ENTERTAINERS, not critics! ;)

Man, I love your channel! :-) Not only for your obvious musical acumen and expertise, but also - and especially - for your excellent style of delivery and keen sense of how to „teach“ in the best sense of the word. I am writing this as a solo acoustic/electric performer with about 30 years of experience in bands, duos and now solo. I really enjoy your content, and also get inspired to attack some covers that had somehow missed me over the years/decades, e.g. „Hide Your Love Away“. My Beatles standards for whomever is seeking inspiration: Help, Let it Be, Here Comes the Sun, Give Me Love and Yesterday. Soon to add Norwegian Wood (thanks for the inspiration on that from another video of yours), Blackbird, Follow the Sun, Good Day Sunshine, In My Life and The Walrus. My repertoire consists of hundreds of songs across multiple genres and eras, but beefing things up with more Beatles seems like a great thing to do. Since I also aim to due funerals (brief unplugged, grave-side accompaniment and wake „celebrations“ here in good ole Germany, where I live), Let It Be should come in very handy. Recently played that one at a church‘s annual family fest, and that was the moment the pastor came forward and grabbed one of my business cards to slip in his suit jacket. :-)

And the great thing is that even as a seasoned performer, I can still glean a lot from your videos - about the business/promotion side of things, positive ways of engaging the audience (your personality and way of talking to us viewers are like a walking, talking neon light for that), nice arrangements, looping (something I‘ve yet to try) and much more. If you ever come over to Germany, you‘ll surely be able to get plenty of gigs here for halfway decent (or better) pay, since audiences here are bound to appreciate your talent and style. Can‘t help but asking two questions in closing: Did you ever dabble in using some sort of harmony pedal to flesh out certain songs, or perhaps find that doing without and staying „pure & simple“ is better? Also, have you ever tried to play harmonica (with a neck rack) so as to more easily perform certain soli that are otherwise tough to play whilst keeping rhythm (apart from looping)? Just curious, since I play harmonica for lots of soli, which compensates for my lack of solistic talent on the guitar (haha), and am looking to get started with a TC Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme so as to add harmonies. Discourage me if you like. ;-)
