hows it holding up after 6 months? does it still work well?

I ended up not keeping it and gave it away. I found holding the button to heat it up slowed me down. I'd rather have the iron heat up and hold temp so I can solder something, position another wire, solder that, position another, solder that. With the Frogbro it had to heat up each time. It's good if you only need to solder something every once in a while.

I do like the flamy little butane torch for quick and dirty repairs. And they're fun to threaten people with on the subway.🏍

It will be interesting to see how this thing holds up. It feels pretty light weight. Really, I'll probably only need it once or twice a month for a single solder repair. I don't think I'd want to use this for any repeated soldering. The button is in a weird place and it takes too long to heat up. But for one quick, simple repair, it seems like a pretty good solution for me.
