@@cc-re1ov I’ve never been a collector of music in any format but I still have a collection of a couple thousand movies and TV shows on blu-ray, DVD and VHS even though I also subscribe to multiple streaming platforms. I also have a collection of several hundred physical video games from the NES to the Switch and PS5. Digital copies or emulations are available for almost every one of those games that I have, and I have access to some of those digital copies and still have purchased the physical copies. A dedicated collector of any medium will continue to be a collector of that medium regardless of what other formats appear. I’ve been collecting physical media of all kinds for close to 30 years and that isn’t something that will change for the remainder of my life let alone the next five years. You’ve made the decision to bark up the wrong tree, because the only way I won’t still be collecting print editions of comics or manga (or anything else physical) in five years time is if I’ve had an untimely early death. In fact I will put my money where my mouth is. If in five years I’m not still collecting physical media I will cut you a check for $1000. If you’re wrong you don’t have to do anything.

I started thinking maybe we will get an english release of Insomniacs after dark after the anime was announced earlier this year and I couldnt be happier. If the upcoming anime is anywhere near as good as the source material im hoping it will drive massive sales of the manga and we get some of his other works released, namely Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki and Neko no Otera no Chion-san.

I recently heard about Helck from another KZbin video - it was on a list of ten recommended lesser-known manga. The whole list was amazing and I want to read at least 8 of the 10, including Helck. Looks like now I'll get the chance.

Helck is such an important manga to me, when I saw the announcement I really couldnt believe my eyes. It’s my 3rd favorite manga and has been that way for many years now- it’s just such a fun and engaging journey. The start is a bit slow as the plot doesn’t fully start rolling till chapter 20 ish, but once it does it will blow you away! It’s got one of the most emotionally satisfying endings in anything I’ve read

Wow, I'm really excited for all this new stuff coming out, in particular the collected volumes of Choujin X, Ayashimon, the Tatsuki Fujimoto Collections, and Show-ha Shoten. I'm kind of bummed out about what happened with Ayashimon and Show-ha Shoten, but at least I'll have physically volumes.

On the topic of shoujo, I suppose it is worth pointing out that the Junji Ito collection could technically be counted (Gravetown, at least, was originally published in Japanese under the 'Halloween Shoujo Comic Kan' imprint), even if it isn't what most shoujo fans are probablylooking for.

I was SO EXCITED to get the announcement for the Haikyu Art Book!! I've wanted a Haikyu art book for so long, it's my favorite manga. I was pleasantly surprised with Shoha Shoten as well, I was expecting a physical release at some point, but not this soon. I'm already getting lots of new SJ physical releases this and next year, but I'm really hoping we get a physical version of Akane Banashi announced! I'm sure we will, it's just going to take a little time.

I’m very happy for Boy Abyss to get English release. The Boy Abyss community is very small community and nitche since the story theme is very depressing and sad. It’s have no happinesses in sight. But I’m surprised that it getting English release. I hope this English release help the manga get anime season in the future. Thank you for the updates.

I can't tell you how many times I've came close to buying Yankee-kun to Hakujou Girl in Japanese but I guess I'll just buy it in English now. can't wait to have some extra Ayashimon in English. show-ha shoten I think I'll buy it even though platinum end left a bad taste in my mouth I have read the first chapter when it came out but haven't picked it back up since. can't wait to add Choujin x to the collection. I'm happy I held back on buying the tatsuki one shot's as well but I'm definitely adding them to the collection. Watch Morbius yesterday wasn't bad but not my favorite either but a fun watch.

The only manga announced I really want to get is Tista because I love Spy x Family, and the Tatsuki Fujimoto One-Shots, a collection I was expecting VIZ to announce and I'm happy they did. I do want them to announce Soloist in a Cage, such a good manga that more people need to read. Hopefully there's titles announced you're all looking forward to.

I'm still hoping that majin tantei Nougami Neuro gets a physical release someday. It's not yusei matsui's most visually appealing work but it's his first manga serialization and my favorite manga. The art improves over time and really shows his determination to create a fun and different story.

They changed the name of "Love is in Sight" which may be why you didn't get a ton of results. The original title is "Yankee-kun to Hakujou Gaaru" or "Delinquent and the White Cane Girl ." It's complete with 8 volumes. I'm super excited about the localization, for many of the points you brought up in the video.

Ayashimon was really underrated, it had a very stylish character's design and world development, cool battle system nothing wrong with this series, the one had wrong is that stupid cancel system on Shonen Jump

Ok, so to Helck. The plot you described is the inital plot of the manga, but it turns into a much bigger story fairly fast. The fanbase is crimminally small, it's one of the best mangas I have ever read and believe me, I have read a lot of manga and rarely give praise.

Yeah Loves in Sight is originally called Yankee and White Caned Girl which honestly while I like the original name I think the English name is very fitting, it’s a 8 volume series (just finished recently in fact) and what is so surprising about this series being licensed by Viz is cause it’s from a magazine which specializes in digital comics getting a physical adaption so not really something Viz would normally pick up but yeah it’s a really fun romance with great character writing especially for the main girl with the visual imparity and the commentary of people who can see dating people who are blind and the realistic struggles that comes from both sides…very great series glad Viz picked it up
