It may not be the sane, my 45 Challenger had the same issue. The fix was to thread the barrel in further that caused the mag to lock in-place as required.

With my benjamin bulldog 357 I'd load 1st mag with 145gran nosler and 2nd with 82gran. This gave me the best average 10 shot group...

I hope they make an m45 soon. AEA is on a different level. Im going to buy the m50 but an m45 would be a flatter shooter. Im really looking forward towards the future with AEA.

I wonder how much it would cost to have an aftermarket barrel made for the HP Max 45/50 line? I’d imagine that would be quicker than waiting for AEA to make it and ship it..

@Matthew Hayslett Looks like we dó have a different version here in Europe. The one i received today has 2 gauges at the bottom and the fill port is on the side of the airtube. Looks like it's regulated.

Specs state about 300 FPE for both .45 or .50

@@SK-me9by In the other video from Mr Hollowpoint you can clearly see that the .50 has more power, his numbers don't lie. 275 FPE max for the .45. The .50 goes way over 300. This is no surprise either. In a short barrel, the bigger caliber can move more air because the diameter of the barrel is bigger. When the barrels would be longer, that benefit for the .50 will disappear at some point because the slug travels longer in the barrel.
