_This_ was the thing that made me take Justin Timberlake seriously as a comedy actor and an actor in general. Prior to this, I wrote him off as a generic pop star trying his hand at acting. This made me see him as a genuinely _hilarious_ person, not afraid to poke fun at himself. It made me see him in a whole new light, I am a big JT fan now, both his music and acting.

Narrator: As the 21st century began, human evolution was at a turning point. Natural selection, the process by which the strongest, the smartest, the fastest, reproduced in greater numbers than the rest, a process which had once favored the noblest traits of man, now began to favor different traits. Most science fiction of the day predicted a future that was more civilized and more intelligent. But as time went on, things seemed to be heading in the opposite direction. A dumbing down. How did this happen? Evolution does not necessarily reward intelligence. With no natural predators to thin the herd, it began to simply reward those who reproduced the most, and left the intelligent to become an endangered species. 😉😁🤣🤣🤣

Not musical, but It’d be interesting to see the reaction of year end SNL Colin Jost versus Michael Che jokes they write for each other, Che is brutal on that and you can just see Colin die inside having to read them out live, love how they’re the absolute best of friends, but Che always throws him under the bus every time regardless - so massively inappropriate, but Colin’s reaction to ‘God do I really have to say this out loud, there goes my career’ thought process alone just gets me every time.

This definitely ‘popped up’ at Mardi Gras as a costume a few years running😂😂 Fun fact: that pooping bride is the daughter of the late, great Minnie Ripperton!!! ‘Loving You’ was recorded in a little house in Gainesville FL. If you play the track alllll the way to the end & crank your volume, you can hear Minnie singing to her baby girl: Maya Maya, Maya Maya… the label felt it was too personal to leave so pronounced. But it’s still there & so heartwarming as Minnie passed only a few years later when Maya was still a very young girl. It must be really cool for her to have❤️ Someone’s already mentioned the ‘backstage at the CMAs’ refers to a then just-happened incident when Tim McGraw & Kenny Chesney ummm ‘borrowed’ 2 NYPD horses & were arrested. Ahhhh… to be young again😂😂😂 Stay safe & love much!💖

The spoof about this whole thing is that back in the 90’s with “Artists” like Kieth Sweat, Genuine, and R. Kelly, the lyrics in SNL’s “$&ck in a Box” we’re not too far from the garbage lyrics of mid to late 90’s R&B…sad to say tho…the lyrics back then seem tame to the “R&B” & Hip Hop horror listened to by young people today…

The Golden Rule(3-Way) is the 3rd and final chapter to the trilogy. As for the production values, Dick in a Box came out while Andy was writing/acting on SNL, so they had a tiny skit budget. Mother Lover came out on Lonely Island's second album, so they definitely had far more to spend. The Golden Rule is off their third album, and, again, has higher production values as well.

In the 70's early eighties, there was a movie, (Maybe the movie 'Diner' or 'Porky's) where the guy is at the movies with his girl and he cuts a hole in the popcorn and sticks his thing in it. The girl keeps eating popcorn until she gets down to the real nitty-gritty, so to speak. Since then I have seen many variations of this comic gag. This song is the funniest of all of them.

I'm pretty sure this was the first "Lonely Island" style SNL Digital short. I know the story is he approached Justin Timberlake ( that weeks Host/Musical Artist ) and pitched a rough idea and Justin loved the idea so much he helped write it and flesh out all the cliche music video bits. It was of course a major hit, then fiollowed by Motherlover, then Lady Ga Ga joined them for a threeway.
