what I like in this mod is, you see the copied object before you paste it, and you can rotate it before it and it's so easy to adjust the hight. negative is that it is not compatible with sodium :(
@dr4track1 Жыл бұрын
Idk what u mean when you say incompatible? I was using axiom with sodium since a week agos update. Some limited capabilities with the editor but still useful. Latest version works fine with iris and shaders. The selection is still not properly rendered similar to what happens with litematica with shaders. The preview is also not rendered i just toggle shaders on and off. For a lot of things i just need the box outline anyways. Its actually pretty incredible the speed of the updates with axiom. Its already replaced world edit pretty much entirely for me. I still find the force place and no updates a lil clunky and there is just something gratifying about doing tiny world edit detailing. Would expect to see a version of the paint tool implemented into the builder tool section. Anyways yah, I have been loving it.
@mrmaxmondays Жыл бұрын
I totally missed it but tagged at the veeeery bottom of the feature notes show that it is indeed now compatible with sodium, literally one of the only reasons not to get the mod has now gone bye-bye. I'll have to clear that up next time I make a vid on it!
@pyrobirb4458 Жыл бұрын
It almost feels like this mod is making Minecraft a 3d modeling program. Yet, what sets it apart is that you can actually interact with what you're building rather than just being a camera in the sky. This mod seems impressively easy to use, easy to learn, and is also super user-friendly. There's no doubt in my mind that this mod could easily pair with or take over WorldEdit.
@mrmaxmondays Жыл бұрын
Couldn’t agree more! Right now it pairs pretty well but Axiom just released a new feature that made WE/Axiom compatibility a little worse. Hard to gauge if it’s a bad thing though because the feature is super useful, but I’ll address the pros and cons in this Monday’s video!

Been using it non stop. It has pretty much totally replaced world edit since the rotate flip addition. I still find the force place and no update a little clunky. But maybe thats because I still use WE replace tool. I also really enjoy doing lots of very fine copy and paste sruff in WE. I really hope they implement a version of the paint tool in the builder section. Yah its a great mod. I think a lot of creative servers might see a dip in traffic. Something else to keep in mind is the fact that a mod in BETA can even *compete* with what has been the #1 building mod for over a decade is INSANE. Think about where this could be a few years from now!! The next gen of amazing Minecraft builders in the next several years might have started with and have years of experience with Axiom, that's how good this is. It looks and seems to feel like a fleshed out and professional program for building, except that it's still in it's infancy right now. I'm very excited to see how this all develops.

Axiom does have a feature called blueprints that’s not dissimilar to Litematica-it’s a lil tough to get the hang of, but I think if you master it would replace Litematica in the design process. Although I haven't tried Axion, maybe it would be a great little detail if you could create a .png image of a selected object. Specifically, this would change the use of ctrl+c. When doing ctrl+c you get two options: - Copy the building to paste it in the same world - Allows you to create a .png image of the selected building. This would consist in other multiple options, in which allows you to select what face you would like the do as an .png image. In other option, maybe just make a option as like "export as media".

This is a good description of the parameters of Axiom-WE is a lot better with precise measurements which is great for structures, but Axioms scroll-wheel mechanic lends itself to organic or more free flowing buildings. Me after finishing a project: "Oh, wait, I build this humongus thing which took me 12 hours but now I want it over there." Vanilla command and structure blocks: "You better have no observers in it or we will break your redstone. And good luck with entities." Axiom: "Move-function go BRRRR."
