The massive loot pile in the shuttle is the very reason delta V took the reclaimer away, that and using shuttle to evade arrest or store contra. Personally I prefer not having a round start shuttle, encourages the salv team to use jetpacks and show up to the mission on their own time instead of trying to wrangle the team onto the shuttle. Does also give you something to work for during the round if ya want to do expeds.

I play salv with syndie and initial infected off. It sucks for the station and sucks for the salvager to have an antag salv.

Idk, syndie salv is an interesting time. They have a lot of opportunities to collect contraband for their mission while salving, and the bonds of salvage run deep: I never snitch on a fellow salv having something they shouldn't.
