I stopped watching after the chat made you change your opinion about Katakuri vs Kidd & Law, why would i watch someone who scale based on biased chat opinions? Katakuri can turn Kidd's metal to mochi which will make him useless and gets low diffed law teleport wasn't even enough to blitz Doglamingo in a 1v1 but you believe that he can keep up with a future sight user? Now about Kat's attack power, Luffy couldn't tank more than one Buzz cut mochi while he tanked a lot of Kaido's named attacks, which makes Katakuri have better AP in his tier than Kaido in his tier also Katakuri can use a trident which can one shot Law or Kidd Katakuri's durability & endurance is way better than half of the list he easily tanked a stab to the stomach that took a chunk of his body and recently we saw what happened to Sabo when he got stabbed by a smaller attack, he was fighting for his life Katakuri easily top 12 but he's underrated because of certain group that don't like him for bullying their favorite character.

for the most part i agree with everything you're saying, but a minor point of disagreement, i'm not sure that the trident would one shot law or kidd. for one, law was able to place a curtain in front of kaido's attack, so he should be able to improve his defenses ahead of an attack like that. in addition, law took multiple armament haki punches from big mom repeatedly without that defensive curtain long enough to use the puncture willie. i'm not saying that law would win, (i think it would be close), but i am saying that the trident wouldn't one shot him. as for kidd, i think the trident just wouldn't be at all useful against kidd, since he should reasonably make every attack miss (the metal point turning away from his skin at every moment), and even if he can land it, kidd got stabbed by killer (via hawkins) as well as taking a lot of damage from big mom when he was incapacitated by hawkins slamming his head into the wall repeatedly, i think kidd could probably fight for a little bit if he got stabbed by kat once. again, kat would beat law or kidd, but i'm not sure about one shotting

Yamato is ass, she couldn’t beat Ace and that was before he even fought Jinbe. While Luffy is actually fighting Yonko Ace couldn’t even land a hit on old sleeping Whitebeard while he was asleep. Yamato beat no one in Wano, Ulti got right back up and she stalled kaido for maybe 30 minutes and the whole time kaido was telling her to stop and just become shogun. He clearly wasn’t trying to kill Yamato. She having advanced conquers makes no sense since kaido said only the greats can do this and Yamato was trapped on Onigashima because she doesn’t know advanced armament and couldn’t remove her cuffs. Sure green bull said her haki was tough but Luffy said the same thing about cracker. Everyone is putting Yamato above Zoro but Zoro and Sanji both take down Yamato. I don’t understand the hype behind her character. I think it’s more likely some thirsty weebs who can’t handle the side boob. She isn’t even a clever character she is kinda dumb as ass. And being so obsessive with Oden shows her lack of identity so I don’t get how she would have advanced conquers.

ranking Yamato is hard though. It's true her only big showing was the fight against Kaido and considering their whole dinamic is kinda dificult to say how much Kaido was trying and how much Yamato actually did damage. That being said Yamato has ACOC, which is by far the craziest buff we know in the story. Luffy literally went from being a commander caliber guy to an emperor by learning it, that's the biggest jump in power we've ever seen. So I get why people put Yamato as high as that

They're the face of the new generation together with Luffy. The ones said to be part of the group of young pirates to take down Kaido according to Odens journal. Law fought Blackbeard pretty evenly with his awakening for longer time until he lost. The simple fact that they could damage Big Mom that much and Big Mom herself admitted she didn't felt that much pain since decades speaks volume, she respected them for a reason. Until then she was never injured by anyone in the series and was seen as an indestructible monster. She had to power up herself for the first time even... the two guys are monsters... even without that much haki... King nor Boa did show any haki either although we know they have it same with Kid and Law.

Lucci is definitely fast than Kid with better IQ. Law has literally never fought a 1v1 in his life since Vergo, so idek if I have the confidence to say he could fight him. Lucci also got waxed by Gear 5, but Luffy is like Top 7 minimum and he did get up moment later completely fine.

For akainu to be matching that with his own power is insane. I can even reference the panel where he does it Sure maybe whitebeard can’t produce the level of quakes he did in his prime (maybe, we don’t know), but I can’t imagine they’re much weaker. And haki doesn’t weaken with age either. It’s your willpower. So in all power related factors like devil fruit, haki, and physical strength, whitebeard should still be roughly the same except for probably physical strength. Regarding his stamina durability and reaction speed, he was diminished. But that’s not what I was referring to. Akainu endured whitebeards most powerful attack twice and was able to match the gura gura no mi with his own ability.

I love Katakuri but he has 0 ways to damage King. There has never been any indication that King’s flame has a time limit so he can literally just keep it on and stay invulnerable until Kat’s Haki runs out. The only strategy Katakuri has is to try and smother King with his Mochi but that is going to be obscenely difficult.

Katakuri and Dofflamingo can jump in power if they learn how to coat theor Conqueror's. I feel like Oda did really well balancing the Yonkou first commanders. Katakuri's conqueror's just doesn't feel like it contribute to his strength so he feels like the weakest of them. But if you think of COnqueror's coating, Katakuri is the strongest of the three if he learns coating.

Idk about that BB take. I see it more like him avoiding unnecessary fights. If he doesn't need to fight you and you're an OP char like akainu or aokiji, he'll opt to run away until he has to fight you for whatever reason. He's only looking for fights where victory is highly probable. Which is very interesting, because likely he'll be fighting shanks' crew at some point. Its been foreshadowed a bit. I think in that fight he'll also have his 3rd df and will showcase the full extent of his power to beat shanks. Imo 2 df BB is probably same tier as akainu, and 3 df BB will be above shanks.

People get so defensive for Law and Kid, it's crazy. You guys have to admit they're just hard to rank because of what they've shown: crazy devil fruits but nothing else. On the roof they were by far less impressive than Luffy and Zoro even before ashura and advanced conq haki, with Big Mom they basically took turns in distracting her-landing sneak attacks with some hack ability and in the end they couldn't even finish her off, and to finish it all they just got treated like scrubs by two emperors who didn't even take the fight seriously... This is perversion of the story, kid and law were by far the most impressive characters on Luffy’s side aside from luffy and maybe Yamato, and it’s know secret that oda is pushing law and kid to not be as far from luffy as everyone else in wano. Also law was able to fight BB and his crew for almost 10 Chs, that alone should put him far above guys like zoro, lucci king who would lose to BB in a single 2 chs max. Law is also the only character in the series after BM, Kaido and shanks to negate devil fruit hax and she was able to one shot misery which is BM’s strongest attack, and he did that after saying he had no strength left.

What I'm saying is that people go overboard to defend them, as you're doing right now. On the roof they basically were support to Luffy and Zoro, come on. And yeah they have hax abilities that damaged Big Mom, that's impressive, but they landed them in a 2v1 while continuosly distracting her and they couldn't even put her down. And than what happened when they actually faced a Yonkou without the strawhats backing them up? Kidd got blitz and overpowered (and he was prepping his strongest attack and was even supported by Killer, so there's no exscuse) and Law landed a good surprise hit on Blackbeard and proceded to get demolished the moment BB got serious and used his darkness fruit (the 10 chapters is bs and you know it, we just cut away the moment BB overpowered Law). What happened to them is almost like what happened to Luffy when he encountered Kaido in Wano, which makes the comparison to modern Luffy kinda absurd. That being said regardless of what people say, I firmly believe they're going to come back from this even stronger, but believing they're top top tiers right now is just fanfiction

King had his gimmick & generally had good durability but dude was out after like 2 acoc attacks while Kaido can withstand much much more. Big Mom also withstood awakening spam & still couldn’t be put out cold, she is the closest in durability to Kaido & even then falls short to Kaido. As for Law’s awakening, it would be like the perfect counter to King since it does internal damage so he arguably could just bypass all the flame stuff. We saw Greenbull seemingly do something similar with his vines

Bruh, it DOES NOT matter. None of the characters below Yamato has an attack equivalent to ACOC Enma coated attacks. King in his flame-off state still tanked multiple of those. Just base Enma attacks were the ONLY thing able to break through Kaido's scales with raw force alone (no Advanced Haki or internal damage), and flame-off King is tanking a far stronger ACOC version of those. Y'all acting like flame-off means King has low defense. We're literally shown it does not, multiple times.

He's just a plain swordsmen with no devil fruit. Haki is not a separate thing from swordsmanship. How did Zoro become stronger as a swordsmen? - He unlocked the next stage to haki. So haki and swordsmanship go hand in hand. Shanks managed to give GB a little fright with his haki, but guess what? That haki alone is not defeating GB. At the end of the day Shanks is going to funnel that haki into his blade, and all it means is that when he does, Shanks should not be beating the world's strongest swordsmen, otherwise there's continuity issues in the writing.

You can COMBINE haki with whatever Fighting ability you have, but that doesnt mean they are One and the Same. And according to Kaido, who was also stronger than Mihawk since Strongest Creature > Strongest Swordsmanship, Having the strongest Haki is ABOVE everything. Its Above Devil Fruits, Tech, and Swordsmanships. And who has the Strongest Haki in the verse that we’ve seen so far ? Shanks. To say Mihawk is stronger than Shanks would mean Mihawk has a Stronger Haki than Shanks. When has THAT ever been shown? Because having the title Worlds Strongest Swordman is in no way implying you have a Stronger Haki than anyone else. But if you're gonna tell me that Mihawk DOESNT have a stronger haki than Shanks, then how is Mihawk overall stronger than shanks when Having a Stronger Haki means more than being a better Swordfighter ? Lets break it down in Numbers so you can understand Shanks Swordsmanship : 9/10 ( daily duels with mihawk, and its his main weapon of choice, this number makes sense ) Shanks Haki : 11/10. Strongest in the verse by a GAP, no one even comes close especially after what he did with Greenbull + Kidd. Mihawks swordsmanship: 10/10 ( Worlds Strongest Swordsman ) Mihawks Haki : 8/10 ( Tbh this should be lower since weve seen nothin from Mihawk in terms of Haki, its not even confirmed if he has conquerors LOL but ill give him the benefit of the doubt and say he Does have it ) Shanks Overall : 20/20 Mihawk Overall : 18/20 As you can see, if we take out Haki, then YES, Mihawk IS stronger than Shanks because hes the WSS, but we all know if they were to fight for real, then ofc both of them would use Haki and in that case, Shanks would be Overall stronger. But this doesnt take away from Mihawks title, because he would still be the Worlds Strongest Swordsman if it wasnt for Haki. Hmm.. I enjoyed the debates and reasoning. Realistically it's difficult to put a solid 'rank/number' on each grouping of 5 adjacent characters as you go through the scale. Like 1 thru 5 can be fairly interchangeable, 6 thru 10 can also swap spots with anyone within a few ranks (higher/lower), 11 thru 15 is much of the same. With what's left after the heavier hitters ranking somewhere around 15 to 20, the entire bottom half of the list are, relatively, comparable "fodder", since many of them would never beat a 'TRUE' top 5 character under any circumstances; even if they aligned forces and went '10 v 1' against a singular powerhouse like: a 'G5 Nika/Luffy', or a Shanks, BM, Kaido tier Pirate, Yonkou or top Admiral. I got off track there about the only true issue I had with this process. From the start, rules were laid out that were intended to stick to "What we absolutely *KNOW* from strictly Manga, SBS, Oda Confirmations etc., and to EXCLUDE the Anime, and the countless inconsistencies that so often occur within the Games and Films (UNLESS, certain aspects had been defined as being officially, canonically correct by Oda himself and/or possibly trusted words from his Chief Editor). As such, abiding by the rules that have been quite clearly laid out in this way we can certainly presume, without any doubts, that ANY AND ALL READER/FAN "SUPPOSITIONS", (a.k.a. "HEAD-CANON"), should absolutely NEVER, even playfully, be entertained as a relevant factor for any and all characters in the ONE PIECE Universe when constructing this obvious thought experiment which attempts to determine the 30 STRONGEST characters. Working inside of the boundaries of "What we KNOW" to be true, factual, and documented occurrences within the ONE PIECE Universe (Important to note that from the beginning of the video it's strongly implied that it is subject ONLY to elements known to be factual AT THIS TIME). And so, the main problem I felt in this obviously masochistic undertaking of a project (Thanks, Mr. Morj 😁) ... There were many moments where the groundwork and resultant foundation which produced the "rules" for us fans during this endeavor, (which, again, had been laid out since the start), slowly became undermined and chipped away at. I couldn't truly debate that I would disagree with Mr. Morj's 'presumption' here,... yet, if it's expected that we're all to be playing by the rules insisted upon for ranking the 30 STRONGEST CHARACTERS, I also am ethically required to say that I CANNOT agree with said Assumption/Headcanon either. In this portion, my final thought, I strongly feel the need to make it clear that this is simply a personal critique, from one single fan and subscriber, that rather than my overly long critique being seen as a cheap and unprovoked attempted "takedown" of Mr. Morj, I would rather cap this off by speaking of Mr. Morj's accomplishments, and overall good standing in the One Piece Community. I'm definitely not attempting to balk at Mr. Morj; I greatly admire the devotion and hard work he consistently delivers. Mr. Morj puts such a highly respectable amount of effort into his chosen role of being a "One Piece Content Creator", whom has made so many fun and insightfully creative videos up here on KZbin l, and embraces the "extra" intriguing One Piece theories with such alacrity and undeniable joy toward his constant interactions with all One Piece content, as well as with all of the mutual fans and fellow One Piece 'Content Creators'. There are 3 sub categories of combat strength that are important to swordsmanship in One Piece that we know of. 1.Sword skill(Look at Zoro in Wano) 2.Haki(Look at Zoro in Wano) 3.Physical abilities like strength and speed(Look at Zoro in Wano) With this in mind isn’t it complete unsupported head canon that Shanks has better overall haki then Mihawk? We’ve never seen Mihawk try. Shanks haki feats simply boosts Mihawk that much higher. A swordsman isn’t gonna be stronger then the Worlds Strongest Swordsman. Narratively it’d make no sense and it’d undermine Zoros dream. Worlds Strongest Swordsman isn’t just a title that you get from having top tier sword skill. Looking at Zoro in Wano makes that crystal clear. Mihawk>Shanks

@@garou417 no, you're totally right. Logically from what we know about swordmen and how Shanks fight, Mihawk should be stronger. The disconnect, I think, comes from the fact that Shanks throughout the story has constantly had more hype moments and has been more talked about by important characters, and usually the more you're hyped the stronger you are. So either you believe that's because Shanks is more narratively important to the story but that doesn't correlate to his strenght and Mihawk is still better, or Shanks has something up his sleeve that is not sword related so Mihawk is still the strongest swordman but not better overall. I personally hope Mihawk is stronger, it's just the simplest solution and the one with less problem for Zoro, but I can totally see Oda using some little trick to justify Shanks being stronger without negating Zoro's objective
