Well you should know that millions of immigrants are not here for free. The millions of students have paid fees and GIC worth 3x more than domestic folks. That money from the fees and GIC is actually used for freebies to Canadians. I acknowledge stealing from food bank is shameless and can be avoided but that doesn't mean you disrespect all students. It is the government who issued visa to them selling them a hope of better life. These policy changes are just a game played with that hope. If they were aware of resources constraints then they should not have issues so many work permits in the first place. If they really think it's a problem now, it's fine why don't they return all the fees students paid and students will happily return rather than living under constant threat of what this gvt might do

We are in this situation in the first place because Indian students faking their IELTS certificates, faking bank statements while they clearly cannot pay the fees and doing all sorts of cash jobs, stealing food from food banks, doing protests with weapons in hand and running their cars on cops in Tim Hortons parkings, doing CRA scams calls, stealing cars and illegally crossing US border's, did I miss something. No matter how big of a keyword warrior you are all the evidence is available on social media. So don't say Indians can afford foreign education you guys are poor and only because of your government policies and banks and fake colleges and agents who make things easier for Indians to make fake documents you are able to dodge the foreign countries system. There is an Indian guy who got a scholarship in the USA by faking all his life and got caught through Reddit. Due to Indians action all international communities had to pay the price.

Canada change the policies in spousal open work permit. If you study a master or PhD degree, then it is okay. If you study a bachelor degree, you need to be in a specific field. No luck if you study a diploma or a certificate.
