In my opinion the most controversial elimination was Amelia Lily, she should have gone through instead of Sophie. No offense, Sophie fans, she didn't really have much charisma or personality. She does have a good voice, but that doesn't mean she has the X Factor. Many hate Kitty and think she should have been sent home, but I adore her personally. I personally would have kept Jojo and sent Sami home.

Hello X Factor fans, here are my thoughts on each finalist and their performances for the first week of the finals 😀 Amelia Lily 
 What a great opening to the live shows, Amelia took a Michael Jackson classic and did a rock take on it. She performed that song with great energy and enthusiasm as if she really wanted to be there. I will admit that although I loved her performance, a few notes were a bit off such as „hearts“ and „kid“, but those are just nitpicks. Overall, her performance is memorable and really sold me her as a star. Johnny Robinson 
Fun entertaining performance with good stage setting and backing dancers. Johnny’s singing was really good, despite not every note was perfect, especially the chorus. For a first live performance, Johnny pulled it off and gave me one of the most memorable performances of that night. 
Rhythmix (Little Mix) They came onto stage and immediately looked and sung like they were a new girlband ready to win their audience. The first part of their song showed they can rap, as two members took on a rap solo. They sung well together and in actual harmony and they had good dance choreography. This was a great introduction to a promising new girlband, who would without a doubt have won over their audience. Frankie Cocozza Great song choice and he sung it well with emotion and effused stage presence. He without a doubt received positive acclaim from the audience and was proving to be a popular contestant. I believe that although he sung his first live performance well, he can still do better. Sophie Habibis Beautiful singing voice and she sung her song beautifully. She hit every single note and put her whole heart into it. I like her makeover, she looks better than she did before the live shows, but still she has to work on her stage presence and really stand out compared to the other girls. Despite all the negatives about her not selling herself as a star, her performance that night was impeccable. 

 Jonjo
 He was someone I considered a risk putting into the finals, although he did improve since getting passed his first audition and bootcamp. His performance was good, but wasn’t great. For a rock classic by the Kinks, I would expect a bit more vigor and intensity, which he was unfortunately lacking. I do believe he could still improve and give a better performance, but tonight was the night he needed to give it his all. 2 Shoes
 It was their moment to shine and these two ladies took the stage, and had a ball with their performance. I deeply admire their enthusiasm and how much effort they put in, but I don’t think they vocally held a candle compared to the other three bands. Their performance I would rate as fun nightclub entertainment, where many would pay to hear them sing. James Michael 
 It’s his first live performance and he picks an easy song by the Beatles. I’m impressed by his guitar paying and his singing is pretty good, but I don’t think it really challenged his vocal abilities. Out of all the boys, I do question him as a finalist, and whether his vocals are in comparison the most superior. Misha B As expected, Misha delivered a performance with her powerful vocals. She even had the audacity to cover an Adele song, which not all vocalists can take on. Not only that, but she added a few lines of her own and even modernized that song, even making it a Misha B and not an Adele song. Nu Vibe
 As a group taking the stage and perform for a live audience, I say their vocals were on the mark for the most part. There were a few minor pitching problems and flat notes, but forgivable. They did stand out for their first live performance and pulled it off. Marcus Collins Full of beans and confidence, he walked onto the stage to give the performance of his life. He sung every note well and effused stage presence. It was his time to shine and he really did shine. 

 Sami Brookes A good replacement for Goldie after she chose to withdraw from the show. There’s no doubt that Sami has the vocals to deliver a live performance, and that’s exactly what she did. For an uptempo song that requires a good vocalist, she hit every note and really demonstrated what amazing vocals she has. 
 The Risk 
Like Nu Vibe, they were manufactured by Tulisa, but had a last minute change by adding a new member to the group. For a band who had less time than Nu Vibe to get together and rehearse for the live shows, they delivered on their first live show. They sung well together and stood out different than Nu Vibe in terms of musical style. Craig Colton 
 Normal looking kid who is different from the other boys, but in terms of vocals, he could rival Marcus Collins. His performance was emotional and beautiful, and every note came straight from his heart. Kitty Brucknell Like a real champ and swashbuckler of a performer she took the stage like it was her throne, and she gave her audience a belting performance, becoming a queen of the night. Janet Devlin This being her moment to take the stage and sing for live TV, she took absolutely no chances and sung a slow song she was comfortable singing. She sung it beautifully and ardently, and wasn’t trying to be a diva or anything else she wasn’t.

Suzette Sanchez Louie should’ve sent her home. That performance was awful. Jonjo was definitely better. I wanted to see more of him. Poor Kelly...she had the only tough decision. I love Kelly but, I would’ve sent Sophie home. Her performance was ok, her voice was amazing though. While Amelia’s performance was amazing but her voice was ok. The night before. Overall Amelia was the better act and she returned with a vengeance.

Who I would have kept or ousted *Over 25s* IN Kitty (She has out of all the over 25s the most prospects and potential to achieve stardom.) Johnny (Sung well and gave his audience a memorable performance. He could give more performances with his own original (drag queen LGBT) style.) Sami (Gave her audience a vocally sensational performance. No, she isn’t a pop star and wouldn’t fit in with the mainstream market, but does belong on a big stage and sing for a live audience.) OUT Jonjo (Didn’t really come onto stage and performed his song like a real fighter.) Louis picked this final three based purely on vocals and how well they did the previous night. Yes, Jonjo I would have probably picked instead of Sami, because he looks more the part. He could have improved given the chance, but Louis chose not to take a chance and for good reasons too.)
 *Boys* IN Frankie (Not the best voice, but he’s got the image and personality to gain public appeal.)

 Marcus (Sung his performance well and owned the stage, he most deserved a place in Gary’s final three.)

 Craig (Might not look like a pop star, but would deliver week after week and the public will adore him.) OUT James (He’s a good looking chap and a good guitarist, but not exactly a strong singer. It’s true that maybe the risk to put him through and hope he’ll improve could have been worth it, but in Gary’s case, he chose not to take the chance.) Alternative: (should Frankie be exposed for his cocaine addiction and binge drinking and leave the competition) James (He might not be anything spectacular in regards to his vocals, but he could be given a chance.) Gary’s choice was fair and just with his three. He picked those whom he objectively thought were good enough to go further into the finals. *Groups* IN Nu Vibe (Modern boyband who can sing any song and make it contemporary. They will be a big hit with a female audience.) The Risk (A worthy vocal harmony group that could also reach further potential and achieve greatness. They are different than Nu Vibe, and that’s what I like about them.) Rhythmix (Little Mix) (Their performance from last night proved them to be an efficient reliable group, who have yet more to give and prove they are the next big girlband.) OUT 2 Shoes (Out of all the groups, their performance was vocally inferior. They are a lot of fun and could pull off memorable theatric performances, but would be more of a fun entertaining act than a potential big seller outside the competition.) Tulisa chose the three best groups and critiqued them on not only their performances, but the overall package and who would be more marketable. *Girls* IN Misha B (Her outstanding vocals and how she delivered last night would have been criminal not to put her through. She would make it outside the competition.) Janet (She delivered the previous night and earned a place in Kelly’s top three. There is a doubt whether she’s versatile enough, but the public will vote for her.) Amelia (Ready made pop star and would deliver every week as well as have a career outside the competition.) OUT Sophie (Although she’s got a great voice and performed beautifully also impeccably on the previous night, she’s not a pop star and there’s nothing about her that’s unique or memorable. The only career I see her having outside the competition is getting work as a backing singer. It might not be what she wants, but it’s a good start.) Kelly made a good choice for her final three, all on the exception of one. She should have chosen Amelia instead of Sophie. I know Amelia’s last night performance wasn’t perfect vocally (in comparison to Sophie’s), but she had other qualities including star quality (which Sophie doesn’t have). It’s obvious Kelly chose vocals over everything in the X Factor criteria. She should know that the X Factor isn’t and never has been all about the voice, it’s the full package. The full package includes image, charisma, personality as well as talent. Overall, it’s about who will make it outside the competition and who’s going to sell records and become a big name in music history.

IMimi808 Amelia came back for week 6, cuz Frankie Corazzo got "ejected" for getting caught snorting cocaine or something like that. So I think they brought back the 4, the Judges let go after week 1, had a "sing off", and let the viewers vote. Amelia got something like 48% of the vote, the other 3 split the 52%. Then she finished 3rd. She should have won, but Kelly "c word" did a terrible job with her. Poor song selections, etc.. But she does have a career now, although hasn't done anything GREAT!! She had a new song and album "California" come out a little while ago, but it's not great. But I still love her voice and the way she sings.

The only judge who had a hard decision was Kelly. I really don’t know who I would’ve put through. Based on the performances of the night before I might’ve picked Misha, Janet, and Amelia. Either way I did not envy Kelly at all. Gary’s was a gimme. Although Frankie isn’t the best singer...James didn’t really do well. Tulisa didn’t have a hard choice. 2 Shoes wasn’t great on the live shows but they did kill it at judges houses. Louis’ decision was an easy one as well...and he still made the wrong one. Sami was a gimme. But Johnny’s voice is so specific I don’t know if anyone would actually buy his records. And Kitty did not sound good at all the night before.at least Jonjo has a voice that would sound good on a record. Bad choice Louis
