I have been with my husband 11 years, married for 6. I asked him when we were dating what is favorite part of his childhood was and he said it was that his mom stayed home and was always there for them. In these current times, I feel like some men will lie just to get you to let your guard down. But answers like my husband gave, can not be faked. Praying for all the women here looking for a husband. @@Chydova This may not even be a good advice, but statistically how most people meet their life long partners is by mutual friends, and I found my love like this too. I was always *too* stuck up on my own world, focused just on my education, never wanting to hang out, thinking there was no one out there for me, etc.. and one day I just started to say YES to all my friend's invitations and be more positive and open to talk to strangers whenever the opportunity arrived. I started to just do more hobbies and go to places I don't get overwhelmed socially but still force to interact with the world (yet still by my friend's skirt wich made me secure); such as hiking, camping, paintballing, escape rooms (lol), anything related to animals and just any other fun activities to let me loosen up a little and just enjoy life. I've met several people like this and one day one of the guys that became good friends with my other friend, was with HIS friend (that is now my boyfriend), and it clicked to him we would get along so he presented us with second intentions as we were both introverts, commited, all that jazz. And to make things better we started to just hang out together with our friends first, doing all these fun activities with no anxiety wich bonded us even more so that one day we finally decided to get out of the skirt together :) So basically, I guess: avoid toxic places with hooking up culture if your intention is to meet someone who wants to settle down, and just go live a little with genuine people who also want to simply hang out without second intentions and within these interactions, someone may know someone that may know someone that may change your life haha. It's not the easy way, but it's the least risky imo. Too long and poor english so sorry!!!!!!

Men like to feel like they have EARNED you. When you give them all the feminine things that a marriage includes, men dont feel like they did enough to earn it and they get bored. I found it helpful to not play hard to get, but the opposite. Be open and warm and inviting, guys really crave that because its so rare! But be sure to set your boundaries as you do so, let them know your boundaries.

@Demi.d3mi
@Demi.d3mi 5 жыл бұрын
@@krazyoldkatlady192 in my experience and opinion, it depends on how much time you spend with your child. If they are spending all day in daycare, you lose the special bond and moments with them and very young children really do *need* that strong reliant relationship with the mother. It might seem to a lot of people that babies wont notice and it wont affect them as they grow up, but children remember everything and if they dont feel secure at a young age it can stay with them for a lifetime. Now school age kids can be a different story since they have a bit more independence, but if you arent there for them in the morning and evenings, you are too absent from their lives.
@krazyoldkatlady192
@krazyoldkatlady192 5 жыл бұрын
squishy booty Actually, that's not exactly true. Empirical research has found that it is the sensitivity of the parent, as well as other factors, that is most impactful on that bond. Furthermore, children in daycare can still very much bond with their parents. Children who are raised at home can also bond with their parents, but bonding in either setting isn't guaranteed because there are so many other factors that determine a child's healthful development. Psychology Today, a scholarly publication, published an article on this topic in 2017 titled, Non-Parental Daycare: What the Research Tells Us, that backs up my point. This article can be found on Google.

KrazyOldKatLady 19 I don’t need research to tell me that me and my siblings resent my mother for choosing her career over her children. It’s not always the case, but a lot of ambitious working mothers are so caught up in the mindset of being an individual outside of motherhood, that being a mother takes the backseat altogether. Daycare is fine, as long as the separation truly is limited to daycare. Even then, I can’t imagine any mother being sound of mind allowing their children in a stranger’s care for so many hours a day. Missing a lot of those small moments that make raising children. I was always closer to teachers and caretakers than I was to my mother.

I've made many mistakes in the past. I always tried to adapt myself to my partner, because I didn't appreciate myself and I thought "oh, by being who they want me to be, or doing/liking what they love, it will be the best relationship ever, THE one". It wasn't until I made a couple huge mistakes that I realized what I really wanted in my life: married young, with kids and rising my children in a traditional environment, AND that I deserved all that, I was worth it a loving husband who loved me for who I am. That's when I met my current boyfriend, hopefully fiancé in the near future. I'm 21 btw, and my partner is 28.

@@adrijanapavlovic3441 Unless you bring your child to work you can not spend as much time with them when working away from home as you could if you stayed at home for example. Time is not limitless and I think that is what Martin Bengtsson is talking about. Playing games on your phone or computer instead of doing chores and then having a messy home is also a trade off, I'm not saying you shouldn't do it if you want to, but you have to realise you can't be in two places at once and do mutually exclusive things at the same time like sleeping or being awake. Personally I think having children is different from the everyday trade offs we do, because it means you chose to create life and therefore, in my opinion, have a moral obligation to make it as good for that new person as possible. This leads us to the question "what is best for the child?" and from what I've read and seen, kids do not do as good when put in daycare as they do when staying with a caregiver (usually mother or father).

I would have to say as a woman-- know who you are, like who you are, and keep yourself occupied with the things you value. I feel like a strong man is gravitated towards a woman with solid self-esteem. If you're tired of yourself, loathe your own company and see a relationship as an escape or answer to your unhappiness, I hate to say it- then why would a long-time partner see a future with someone who's dependent on them for emotional stability. That's not healthy. That's a good indication to take a step back and really recognize the necessity to work on yourself first before you can ever attract the right person for you. I feel like I'm not very attractive to men and I feel like that has to do with my lack of feminine energy. It has taken a toll on my confidence and made me think of "chasing" men and "one night stands" even though I know I am not like that. Watching this video makes me feel better for not forcing myself to chase men :) Thank you!

I have never been able to understand women, who fall in love with rude and aggressive men and then suffer during their relationship. I have never found such type of men attractive. Why do I have to prove something to myself when I just can enjoy the relationship and be happy? But I haven't thought about different types of trauma, which influence on people's choice. After watching your video the puzzle is completed. Thank you so much for the informative video. I love your channel!

The idea that no men are interested in you is pretty much a statistical impossibility. @NightWolf well, then I am the first. I have rejected one guy I wasn’t interested in because he had asked all the girls out at church at some point. Your words are gold Mrs Caitlin! This would have been so helpful 4 years ago when I was trying to figure out relationships and dating when I met my partner. Although I was only 18 and didn't have many experiences with men, I learnt a lot from my reading and novel writing about the type of relationships I wanted. I wasn't after anything light or immature and I was just lucky to meet my boyfriend who aligned with my values and goals, supported me even as friends for the first few months before we decided to take things to the next step. I think it's also super important not to rush things in the first few months in that "honeymoon phase" because chemically our hormones and emotions are all over the place. While everything may be heightened and intense, just enjoy it and keep getting to know your partner a bit more, especially if they are a bit older or have a different cultural background than yourself. Thankyou for your videos as always! xoxo Renée

I am feminine but not looking for a traditional life like being a homemaker. Always wanted a full time job and kids like my mom and grandmas. But I respect you so much for standing up for what you want in your life. My choice is what I want and that doesn't mean that someone else wants the same things. What I like about our time is that every woman can choose what she wants and I respect every choice. You are right: a woman should first think about what kind of life she wants to lead and then should look for a man with the same wish. And I really like your videos because they are so calm, happy and I like that you are "feminine like me"and not like so many feminist women nowadays. At 3:25 "You don't want to marry someone and dash their hope of ever becoming a father." That is a very, very good point. Realizing my wife would not be a good mother is when I fell out of love with her. We ended up divorced. When I think of her, it is like remembering two different women, the one I dated before the wedding, and the one to whom I was married. She said herself that getting married was like flipping a switch. The points you make at 3:55 and 8:00 and 8:50 about looking at yourself are important. Be honest above all aboutwho you are, your goals in life, and what you want from a relationship.

The fact that you want to get married just for the sake of getting married means you're putting the cart before the horse. You are, again, so spot-on with your advice! I love how you said that it might sound very "rudimentary" - I have realized that people tend to overcomplicate relationships. The best advice you can give is also the simplest. Stick to the most simple basic principles (no guys who disrespect you or overstep your boundaries, no cheaters, no time wasters, no commitment phobes etc.) but stick to them 100%. I once heard someone refer to this as the 5+5=10 rule. 5+5 is always 10 and not sometimes 11, there are no exceptions. It's the same with relationships - stick to these basic principles always, with everyone and in every situation and you will automatically weed out the men that are not good for you and attract the ones that are.
